Killing Time (Agents of Time) (Volume 1) Review: An interesting read. - Just finished the book. Time travel books always make me think more while reading. I'm alway looking for a paradox or mistake by the author. One I noticed was when Alex goes back in time a couple of days to fix something, his buddy Eric calls him on his cell phone to give him some info after Future Alex convinces him of what he is doing. Why did it go to Future Alex's phone, but not to Current Alex's cell phone? I found that a stretch. Otherwise it's an enjoyable read. I can recommend this to anyone looking for an escape from the Current Time Line. Review: Love time travel - Great character s great story line. Who did you base your character on? Fun side lines about Kelly and his friends

Great time travel story.
This fast-paced story draws the reader in very quickly and is well written, with believable characters and and a suspenseful plot. Very satisfying read.

Not bad
Interesting read for time travel newbies. A like more twist to the conclusion would have been pleasing all in all

The author has found a different approach to make this a very engaging story. Our hero is a typical young person beset with his own wants, needs and desires, falling into this adventure accidentally! I just wish it had been a little longer to the up some of the loose ends I was left to ponder! 💥😱💥

To be fair, if you're 11 and aspire to be the sort of care-free, lazy, self absorbed, drunken, irresponsible, parasitical student type - so often portrayed in American films and TV and surely loathed by everyone that has to work and pay for what they have - then you may enjoy the characters in this book. If you are particularly infantile for an 11 year old, then you may like the story. I can't imagine anyone else would. The plot is a poor butterfly effect story with no characters you can like or sympathise with. I basically couldn't careless what would happen to any of them. There were no effective twists in the plot, no tension anywhere and a sort of " I woke up and it was all a dream" type ending where everyone lives happily ever after. Having read the Agora virus trilogy by Jack Hunt, which I really enjoyed, I am very disappointed by this crud. One thing for sure, there is a pattern emerging as he includes these unlikeable student characters in all 4 books I have read now, I tolerated them in the trilogy, just, but I am not going to risk any more of his books.
