Initially these lights worked great. After a couple of weeks of use though the remote cannot seem to be made to work. The lights would come on with the switch on the battery box, but no remote abilities.Update: After replacing the batteries, even though the lights would come on, the remote works again. So my only conclusion is the remote module requires more power than the lights themselves to work. I recommend using a USB power source if you have it nearby.The customer rep was eager to help resolve the issue. So solid customer service in that respect.

At first these lights seem great. Good color options, many settings and remote controlled. There are few negative issues that overpower the positive. First, the connection between the power cord and the light strip does not hold. Had to tape them together to keep the connection. Second, the remote receiver on the power cord gets hot and gives off a little shock when touched. Finally, after just a couple of hours of use, the light strip stops responding to the remote and the only way to turn it off was to turn off the power from the battery pack or unplug. I would not recommend buying these lights.Geekeep was very quick to respond to my dis-satisfaction with an apology and a refund for the product which I didn't ask for. If the time comes, I will purchase from them again.

Perfect! Used this to light up a metal sign in my garage. Really like it has a remote and varies colors and modes. Can fade in and out of different colors or flash different colors or stay one color. Can dim the lights as well. Has a switch on the battery pack or can use the remote to turn on or off. Great product.

Ordered this item to put above kitchen cabinets for a customer. Light brightness very poor and had to go back twice because one on the longer runs I had to do kept going out. Switched all the plugs around and still goes out after 15 minutes. Not happy the only reason I give it one star is because there are no minus starts

Got my lights and tested them out, they worked great for a single day. The next day I couldn’t turn them on again, even when they are connected to an outlet and not the battery pack. Very disappointed with this product.UPDATE : I have been in contact with customer service, and very quickly my issue was resolved. I have a replacement on the way. Very satisfied with the customer service provided. From one star to five.

I got this and was so excited that they were battery powered but after installation I noticed that they drained the batteries even while in the off position. Should have just bought the plug in ones and dealt with the cord being seen. Oh well, lesson learned.

At first the colors were the right ones, then all of a sudden the white became orange, green became like a weird yellow and so on, none of the colors that originally were there, are now gone :( kinda sucks, but my daughter is like whatever still looks cool.

This lights up nice and bright! The remote is very responsive and easy to figure out all the cool options such as brightness or flicker speed. Works with all of my USB adapters as well incase I decide to forgo batteries
