The size of it can hold up any DSLR out there pretty well, the build was pretty sturdy
I had consumed at least 10 tripods in the past, this one is quite impressive for the price you pay. The size of it can hold up any DSLR out there pretty well, the build was pretty sturdy, considering the material used for this tripod, it is relatively lightweight. All locking parts snug pretty well, however, my personal preference was to use metal instead of plastic in order to make it really durable. I specially like the design of the hook which allow you to hang a weight to stabilize the tripod body. It is very useful. Verdict: at this price, I would say this Tripod is well worth the money.

Great price and quality
Great new tripod. I am just returning to photography after some years of not doing much. I got a new camera and needed a good tripod. This one has a lot of good features including a way to take the center post out and use it as a monopod. It appears solid, It has a hook to hang a stabilizing weight. the tripod is reasonably light weight, has a carrying bag and quick release. I haven't yet had a chance to use it but I expect it to serve me well. The price seems great for what seems to be a quality produce

Very good tripod, not so good monopod
Very good tripod, not so good monopod. The monopod uses a turn locking, multi tier system to expand the stick. The first unit I received, the monopod would not lock properly and would collapse any time I allowed the weight of the camera to rest on it. The seller immediately sent me a new replacement unit and the monopod locking system on the new unit locks much better. The upper section does not lock quite right, but I was able to whip up a home remedy to solve that issue and it works well now.As for the tripod itself, it is great! The entire tripod is very sturdy, yet quite light. Using the hook on in the center of the tripod to hand my camera bag when using it made the entire thing almost impossible to knock over (aside from someone purposely trying to knock it over). I took many (~100) photos using the tripod with multiple different lenses, some with and others without lens vibration reduction, in different environments including, but not limited to indoors, outdoors, in light to medium wind, and on a slight slope. I didn't experience any blur at all!The tripod has a built in level that helps to ensure that the camera will be level at all times. Each of the 3 legs have a multi tier extending system that allows for each section to be locked in place at any length. This allows for perfect leveling when on uneven surfaces like grass, gravel, etc. The locks are flip locks and the legs do not collapse at all when locked in place. The entire unit is very high quality and well made. It is light enough to carry on a hike, but not so light that it feels cheap by any means.Overall, this is one of the best tripods I have ever used. I reduced 1 star because of the monopod issues I experienced, even after the replacement was sent. However, if you buy this and have any issues, I can tell you from my experience that the seller will take very good care of you. A++ for the seller customer service!

Sturdy...
This tripod seems to be of very decent quality, especially for the money. It is sturdy & I trust it to hold any of our video cameras, my DSLR, etc. It is every bit as good as a tripod we purchased 25+ years ago back when they made things well & they lasted.i WOULD purchase this tripod again & am happy we found it!

Will cost you more in the long run.
I’ve had this tripod for just over a year now. Build quality is very questionable for the garbage plastic they use. DO NOT put any trust in this tripod , like I did,to hold your camera if you are not standing right behind it because it can and will break and your camera will go crashing to the ground. Was my 1500 dollar lesson for the day because of it failing and breaking my lens when it fell over on its own. Luckily my camera is still ok. In short, this tripod is junk and save yourself the 40 dollars to put towards something of better quality.

Great Tripod
Very happy with this tripod. It's well made, the legs are easy to extend and lock, comes in a nice carrying bag. I like the hook on the bottom that you can hang a camera bag for extra stability.it extends a little taller than some others, which for me being 6'2,is nice. And it is easy to use it as a monopod.all in all a good buy.

Plastic head loose and unstable, legs OK
The leg section of the tripod is fine - relatively sturdy and easy to use, but the head is useless. The quick release is unstable so that both my camera and spotting scope rock at the slightest movement. The panning of the head is not smooth at all - feels like it is ratcheting as it rotates. This makes it impossible to do a smooth camera pan. I know it's cheap, but c'mon! I finally replaced the head of this Camopro with the head of my old broken Slik tripod - MUCH better.Update: Changed my rating from 3 to one star. I contacted the seller and they basically said "have a nice day" so I'm returning the tripod for a refund. The description (see above) says it is made of aluminum, but the head is 95% plastic!

A well designed "starter" tripod.
I wasn't expecting much at this price point and I pretty much got what I expected. If you extend the center column for example which also houses the monopod, there is a fair amount of give, so for long exposures you may wish to use the camera's self timer. For family photos it should be just fine, as it is a well designed tripod for the price. It is a bit heavy to take on a hiking trip with you unless you're needing just the monopod. The specs show 3.63 pounds total weight with a camera and lens load at 8.8 pounds. I plan to keep the "anti-shake" active on my camera when using this tripod anyway except for long time exposures. I think the description should be modified to say" Professional Style Digital camera tripod" to be less misleading. I don't think you would ever want to use it for shooting video's with it either, unless it gets smoother with use. When using the monopod for example, be sure to tighten the leg extensions very tightly, and don't plan on using it for a hiking stick. The pan head is almost all plastic also.
