What is the size of the jacks ball to ball?

I am not positive, as I gave it to a granddaughter who lives out of town, but when it arrived I would guesstimate about the size of the ball that is attaned to a paddle with a long rubber band that you can hit the ball to the sidewalk and it bounces back up (not sure if I am explaining correctly).

Any instruction with jacks?

Played on the floor or sidewalk etc. You toss the jacks on the floor gently and bounce the ball one time starting with one jack pick up the jack in same hand and catch the ball. Continue with two jacks, three jacks and so forth. If you miss picking up the jacks you forfeit your turn and the next player plays. You use only one hand to pick up the jacks and catch the ball. We played this game for hours.
