Ryobi/Rigid 300527002 Hook and Loop Disc Assembly

True to description, fits and works perfectly.

This was a great fix for our sander. Cost effective versus replacing sander. Fit was perfect. Super easy to do.

The grit is a consistent size and roughly correct for the numeric grit rating. Seem comparable in quality to the stuff from big box stores, just costs far less. All the sizes come stacked in a single box and it’s a little inconvenient to have to dig to find a sheet of the desired grit, so you may want to get some kind of storage containers for them.

It fit my old Ryobi sander and gave it new life with no problems

The p;ad fit and the screw holes lined up ok,but the one that was on it had holes between the screw holes that fit the little pins on the sander between the screw,there are 4 of them,I guess to help retain the pad from putting a strain on the screws holding it on,and there is a small gap where the pins are holding the pad about 1/32nd off the head of the sander,have not used it yet will see how or if it will perform or if it goes to pot.

Sander pads were as advertised, bought to replace worn out hook and loop pad and to try using the adhesive pads for both porter Cable and Ridgid sanders. Adhesive pads are cheaper to buy, but I still favor the hook and loop, they stick to the pad better and can be replaced faster/easier.Wore out the hook and loop, I think my helper sanded the patio cover after the hook and loop sandpaper came off the sander. Sanding a little with hook and loop will destroy it pretty fast, he destroyed H&L pads for both Ridgid and PC sanders.New sander pads are great, work well with either type of sandpaper, H&L or adhesive.

Unfortunately everything seems to be designed to be throw away these days. I was glad to see that these pads were available and I didn't have to buy a new tool. It fit and functions perfectly, I hope that it lasts as long as the original did.
