I tried to find some nice lights for my walkway in my front yard for MONTHS. I wanted something pretty, but waterproof, solar was preferred but not mandatory, and easy to set up. I spent so much time reading reviews of outdoor lights it made me feel crazy. I looked at pretty much every price range, style and idea out there. What really sold me on these was actually that they're super waterproof. So many of the walkway lights claim to be waterproof, but they aren't actually IP68, they have lesser ratings and the reviews complaining about water getting in those ones, rusting them, and killing them off were plentiful. I live in Florida on the beach and sometimes it just rains so hard here and small flooding can happen and high winds I just know in advance that anything not super hardy in my yard will die out really fast. I'm not interested in wasting money on lights every few months. This basically over time and much to my dismay removed every pretty looking light out there. They were either not bright enough, not waterproof enough, or rusted out quickly. After that I looked into wired ones, and they were chalk full of issues as well, mostly connectivity and shockingly brightness and that was on top of me knowing I would either have to figure out how to set them up or pay someone to do it for me which I didn't like the idea of either. I finally stumbled on these and ya they're not pretty, but they looked easy and bright and they're actually waterproof IP68 rated. I put them in the ground in all of 5 minutes it was so easy and they light up my walkway effortlessly and brightly. They stay super bright all night, which I know very intimately because I work nights and often put my trash out just before sunrise. I am so pleased. I still wish they cast pretty light patterns onto my walkway and looked like amazing little charming somethings in my yard, but at the end of the day practicality wins over things being pretty. Thank you for such a great and easy way to give my yard some walkway safety lights. They've already survived high winds, and intense thunderstorms/rain.

My house has runway lights! We added a paver and rock pathway to the front yard and I thought lights would add the final touch. But I didn't want tall lights because they never seem to sit straight. These were a good option and work well. The plastic stakes didn't work so well because the ground was hard so we ended up cutting the tips off. Can't tell though since those are underground. I'm finding that the lights stay lit until about 3:00 AM.

I really like the brightness and flatness of these lights. I’ve had them up for 3 months and they all still work great. My only complaint is the flimsy plastic base. They can handle weight directly downwards, but if they get knocked from the side, they pop off the base and a few of the prongs that hold it on have broken off. I’d rather pay more for a metal base.

Great accent lights for the yard. Perfect to light up shrubs, mail box, trees, etc... Very bright and lasts almost the whole night. The spike has been approved and sits deep into mulch. The black housing makes it blend in dark mulch beds. Much better light then the other "silver" ones that I have used the past. Very happy with the results and worth the slightly higher price.

I wanted lights that mount flush in the lawn, so I can run over them with my lawn mower and not have to worry about trimming around them. These fit the bill nicely. They really do look nice at night, and are hardly noticeable in the lawn during daytime. After a sunny day, the batteries are charged enough to allow the lights to stay on all night. BUT . . . I've had them for just over a year now. One light has failed completely, and on most of the others, a few of the individual LEDs have burned out. I only needed 8 lights, but bought the 12 pack, so I have replacements for complete failures. If you do chose to buy these, I recommend first loosening the soil where they'll be installed. As others have noted, the mounting stakes aren't very sturdy.

These are fantastic. Nice bright light that lasts all night. The light is bright with good range for accent. We put one in each of our pots that have agave plants and they add a great look to them. Also have them shinning up on the palms and they too look great. Just like resort lighting. Some say they only last a short time. People, you can change the batteries. Have had my first set over 2 years and the overall material is still in great shape and look like they will last for quite a while. The material has not faded in the AZ sun. I just replaced the batteries in 3 of them and they are still just as bright as they were when I first got them. Just received another set so we're set for some time. Easy to put together and with a screwdriver to make a hole, they go into the ground and stay in place. Overall, these are these are a great find and well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Echoing another buyer ‘great on day 1 doesn’t last long’ These lights were very bright initially but have not held up and over a period of about 6-8 months no longer light at all. I was looking for pathway lights and they were actually too bright but now don’t even light and they get plenty of sun. Combined with the small and weak ground stake I don’t recommend these lights.
