I just got this today and I think I'm in love. First off, can we talk about how aesthetically pleasing this product is when it arrives? It's beautiful. The packaging is lovely, it looks like glittery sand dunes in a diamond desert somewhere. Secondly, I don't normally smell face make up, but I did smell this and it smells EXACTLY like a butter cookie. I'm not even joking. It literally smells like a baked butter cookie.For coverage, I immediately dabbed some on my cheekbones with just my finger and I LOVE it.I have been on a make-up journey over the last year and a half. I went from wearing minimal make-up (powder and mascara if you're lucky), to wash-and-go-no-make-up-during-COVID, to I'm-so-sick-of-COVID-I-want-to-look-pretty-again - and I don't even care that I have to mask up from time to time to be safe!Trouble is, I'm over 50, so I have to be careful of foundations, which tend to make me look ancient and caked in foundational goo and/or something that just stepped out of the Crypt Keeper's vault. Therefore, I have settled on a clean face, bit of toner, moisturizer, primer and various highlighters as my daily make-up regimen. I use L'Oréal's Glowtion as my base and Physician's Formula Translucent Pearl pressed powder as my follow-up. After that? I'm experimenting.Which brings us to this highlighter.Gurl...It's gorgina.It's soft and supple, completely pigmented, and it looks beautiful on your face. Along with my cheekbones, I dabbed it onto my temples... it looks lovely.As an old, navigating my way through "what-is-make-up-anyway", I love this product.

I love this highlighter! I mainly use it as an eyeshadow. It has great ingredients too! I would definitely recommend!!!PROS: It’s shimmery and brightening.CONS: It arrived crumbled, but was still usable.

So I went into this needing a highlighter that wasn't in the traditional "powder" form. I'm 41 and highlighting the upper cheek bone area, while gorgeous on 22 year old YouTubers, can appear cakey on older women with those pesky crows feet. I have tried all of them, and everything has grooved INTO my lines, and left me almost too white, and glittery looking. I don't want to look like a lady of the night for petes sake, I just want a subtle glow on my upper cheekbones, and tip of my nose. The Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter is the best affordable highlighter that I have ever used. The look is natural, no heavy glitters, it LITERALLY feels like butter, and has no powder residue with sits on aging skin so naturally. It creates a flawless sheen that is visible without being obviously heavy and cakey. Oh, and it smells like a very light fresh coconut, which makes me so happy! I apply it with my finger tips, but it also goes on great with a brush too. I highly recommend this product to anyone with skin, but especially ladies out there who might be experiencing signs of aging. Hey, we want to look beautiful too! :)

A tiny amount looks natural, or I can pack it on if I want to be super shiny. Doesn't bother my sensitive eyes/skin.

This is my 5th time using this product and it's been a great highlighter gliding on smoothly. However, this last time it came badly cracked. I received a replacement and the replacement appeared to be shrunken, so the make-up doesn't come fully to the sides of its case and slides around. So only after using it lightly and gently a few times, it's already cracked and crumbling. I never had any problem with it breaking in the past until it was thinned down from heavy use and ready for replacement. It's still good makeup, but there's clearly an issue. Also the fact it isn't attached in its container makes me worried it was tampered with.

Amazing product! I love it! I use it as an eyeshadow base as well as a face highlighter! Works with a makeup brush and also my fingers if I forget to pack my makeup brush! Will be buying again!

Ladies.. if you’re looking for a highlighter for that perfect glow/shimmer. This is it. Not only does it smell SOO GOOD. Oh my god it smells like coconuts/topical. I’ve had this highlighter since 2020. I use it ever single time I’m doing my makeup for work. (Everyday.) and it gives me that perfect shimmer. It last all day and is just amazing. It’s the only highlighter I’ll ever use. It’s super buttery and just feels so smooth. This baby will last me forever. My grandchildren are gonna have it at this point. 😂
