Spa Sciences CIRRA Vanity Nano Ionic Facial Steamer I love a good at-home spa experience, so I was excited to try the Spa Sciences CIRRA Nano Ionic Facial Steamer. Right out of the box, the sleek and compact design caught my eye. It doesn’t take up much counter space, and setting it up was effortless. Just add water, turn it on, and within seconds, a fine mist of warm steam starts to flow. The nano-ionic technology delivers a gentle, warm mist that feels relaxing and helps open up my pores. After a session, my skin feels plump and refreshed, and my serums seem to absorb better. I noticed the mask works more effectively after steaming. This is a great addition to any self-care routine, especially if you want hydrated, glowing skin before applying skincare products.

This is really cute for personal use or at home spa! It does release hot steam and pretty quickly at that. The steam is nice for the size of the product, you just have to rotate ur face around from time to time but it’s no complaint since it’s not a huge steamer. The water holder is small, but it’s just enough for one person. I’ve used it a few times and it does its job in opening my pores and prepping my face for extractions and face masks. You can also rotate the nozzle from where the steam comes out so you can adjust the direction of it.

I absolutely love this CIRRA Facial Steamer. The steam quality and output is better than I expected. For the price this is an excellent product and easy to operate. Customer Service is outstanding because I did have an issue with the power button getting stuck but I emailed customer service and they are sending me a new unit. Overall very satisfied. Linda L

I love this product - Spa Sciences - CIRRA - Nano Ionic Facial Steamer. This product has numerous benefits. Such benefits include the quality of the product itself - produces quality steam. The steam does not burn my skin at all. I feel very relaxed after use. Lastly, the value is great! I do not need to do expensive spa visits just because of products I purchased on Amazon, including this facial steamer! Below, I describe how I use it, which includes my skincare and how the device operates, and some final recommendations. I use this product after cleansing my face. I use either my normal strength 2% SA cleanser, or a moisturizing cleanser. I have noticed that it makes little difference which cleanser I use. I then pour about 1/5 of a water bottle into the water tank on the steamer. Note that I found the water tank difficult to remove - needed something thin to pry it open for the first few times. But not a huge drawback. I filled the water reservoir, firmly tightened the cap on the reservoir, and placed it back in the device. It fit snugly, and I could hear the sound of some water filling inside the device. NOTE (IMPORTANT) the manual suggests you fill this with purified or distilled water, so I would not try this with tap water! I believe it has to do with metals being present in tap water, potentially causing issues with the device and/or burns on your face, but I suggest doing research if you need more info on this point. Anyways, another note: BEFORE powering on the device, you are able to adjust the direction of the steam! By default, mine was facing upward, which was unenjoyable, but I did not realize that I can adjust it until my second or third use. So do keep this in mind. I sit down while using it, so I directed the steam straight ahead, rather than upward or downward, but all of these are options. After the water tank has been filled and placed back into the device, I plug in the device and press the Power button. Note that the button should stay lit if the device is properly powered on. After about 20 seconds, the light near the steam release should turn on, which indicates that the steam is nearly ready to release. The device stays on for about 10 minutes, and then powers off on its own. NOTE: if you do not power off after use, my device tends to keep turning on and off - I guess it thinks there is water inside? But this can potentially be a hazard because the device stays hot. I always make sure the device is powered off completely. Unplugging after use is also an option, I believe. After using this device, I continue on with my skincare routine - my BHA exfoliant, treatment, and light moisturizer. Often, I use this facial steamer before a clay mask. As a tip, I probably would not scrub my face with exfoliating scrub before or after using this device, just to avoid damage to my skin. Be cautious of which products you use after steaming your skin! That's my advice; do your research to optimize your use of this device. The manual recommends using this device 3-5x per week, no more than twice per day. Sit 8 inches away from it. It advices to not use chemical exfoliants, but to use scrubs before or after - I personally do the opposite, as stated above! Read the manual for recommendations and do outside research. I have not yet tried the essential oil function, but I personally have no use for it, as I'd like to keep my skincare routine specific and not have additives like additional oils. I would highly recommend this device as a gift or for personal use.

It is small and not heavy so it is not complicated to carry, in the back brings the compartment to carry water. After turning it on it takes 20 seconds to start sprouting smoke and brave, the cable to connect it is long enough although I would have liked it to be wireless. The total water consumption is 10 to 20 minutes and brings a spare to use as a humidifier and to place oil in a kind of cotton balls that also brings. So far it has fulfilled its function, it came in perfect condition, both the box and the item.

First one was really bad about spitting scaling hot water out, second one broke at the nozzle almost immediately from just barely trying to adjust the angle (but didn’t have the same “spitting” issue the first one had). Ordered a third one, and was sent the Lexi IPL instead. Waiting for the fourth order, third device, but feel pretty confident I can still offer a pretty accurate review: it is quick to produce a healthy amount of steam. I never had an issue with any smells or the such; I used bottled water every time, and never left any in the tank. I really like that it uses UVC technology for sanitation of the water, just like my Dyson humidifiers; seems like it’s the only one on the market to utilize this technology, and definitely the only one that’s so affordable. Overall, if you get one working correctly and to its full ability, definitely worth it.
