I've been using the NOYAFA Network Cable Tester extensively and I'm thoroughly impressed with its capabilities and affordability. The device has a Variable Frequency Laser (1Hz, 2Hz, and Static) that is good for shooting light to find faults in fiber or locate where a connection is on a patch panel.Also has an Optical Meter to test how strong the light coming in is from another Switch/Router/Media Converter. I keep this in my car and it's saved my but a few times when I ran into fiber issues and was able to do some quick troubleshooting. Just gotta remind myself that -16.00 db is the "normal" threshold for a good fiber connection.The Ethernet parts work well too.Positives:Flashing Port = checking for connectivity. Provides speed, duplex, etc. It's good to know if I am even getting a good connection to start with.QC = If I am actually getting a copper contact on the termination. Good for when I make my own cables.Cont = This requires you plugging it into the port on the Toner on the far end so you can see what the cable is doing. Good for finding breaks and splits.Length feature is pretty accurate. Sometimes it'll show a pair that's not broken or anything as being way off. So you kinda gotta use your own judgement in some of these cases, but that's what we network engineers are paid for, right?Cons:Often find myself needing to use the port on the Toner for the most accurate results for the CONT and I have had some issues with using the actual toner correctly. But this likely was user error since I rarely ever tone anything out.All in all, it's definitely worth when working on a large network where you have a mix of copper and fiber. Especially when the name-brand competition has their products in the THOUSANDS of dollars price-range. So this definitely does the trick for me.10/10 recommend.

It works as intended. But please be aware that not every charger works with this product. Best bet is making sure you keep the one that came with it. Or you'll be stuck changing different charges to find what works with it.

This is an awesome addition to the field tech, expecially the light test.

Bought this, it's not a multimeter for electrical / electronics work as advertised- Volt, Ohm, Diode, Temperature etc. Its gives erroneous CAT cable continuity readings right out of the box: showed crossed pairs / wire on most readings even new cable and the one they sent in the box as well ! Returned it. I bought the cheaper version from them and it works like a charm so far, love it. Seems the higher end products are faulty - bought 2 different upper level ones , same brand, and had to return them.Called Amazon and gave them an update on the false advertisement on the above product, that didn't work, seems Amazon isnt correcting seller on that issue. Not sure why not.Update: The lower end products by the same manufacturer continues to impress me. I bought the midrange Tester they offered and have been using it for months now without any issue. Love the high end features at a bargain price, like cable length measurements / break distances - TDR, also Hub blink, POE testing and digital POE Scanning function over live phone and active network Ethernet cables.

Comes with a small phone jack connector with cheap 22 gauge alligator clips for tracing down wires,BUT THERE IS NO SMALL PHONE JACK PORT ON TESTER!THERE ARE ONLY THE LARGE CAT 6/RJ PORTS. Had to make my own alligator clips with a RJ connector.The signal analog and digital signals are ok but the receiver side doesn't not pick up signal unless you are right on the wire. The old style reciever testers get louder the closer you get which saves time instead of going wire to wire trying to get a signal which isn't strong.The rest of the features work ok, fiber test light is ok , but you will need to buy different jumpers to test different types of fiber ends as this comes with none.Cat 6 tester ok, worksThere are Internal batteries on both tester and receiver but only come with ONE c cord and no chargers so you have to charge them one at a time or buy a split c cord with 2 ends. It's 2024 at least supply these they are not expensive. Batteries last a long time still haven't had to recharge after a week.

Works Well, Great buy. Screen very easy to read. Charges fast and lasts a long time.
