Fantastic!
At the time of writing this review (early Jan 2023) you will not get a better gaming laptop for the price than this little beastie! This laptop should play anything available that you currently throw at it... a Ryzen 5 RTX 3060 laptop for £779.99! C'mon now! There is ONLY ONE niggle I have and that's that the trackpad is a bit tacky and possibly a dust collector in the bottom corners but this is only a very minor niggle that wouldn't stop me from purchasing this laptop. The general build of this laptop is OK, it's plastic which is what's expected for this price range but not horrible, treat it with respect and it will last. It is amazingly thin for a gaming laptop as well, this really surprised me.Bloatware, NONE!!! Yes that is right NONE!!! Lenovo has not filled this laptop with tons of useless stuff you will never use and this is something other manufacturers could learn from, thank you Lenovo, this only extra included software is their own software named Lenovo Vantage which is none intrusive and reasonably useful, plus they have included 30 day trial of MacAfee Virus software which I just uninstalled because Windows Defender is quite adequate these days. Of course it comes with Windows 11 Home Edition, also adequate for most users.Last points, as well as being quite thin for a gaming laptop it runs very cool and is quiet for what it is. What else to say, it's a beast for the price, will play anything you throw at it as long as you have reasonable expectations and don't expect to compare against other laptops costing £2000 and up.MY conclusion, I'm impressed and you won't find better at this price. BUY IT and happy gaming to ya.UPDATE: After having this laptop for a couple of months all I say above still stands though I'd add a couple of new comments.I'd like the speakers to be a wee bit louder but once again this wouldn't stop me buying this laptop cos you can easily connect some Bluetooth speakers.Oh, I took the "Steam VR" test by downloading tgrir software and letting it check my laptop, this laptop is VR ready, more than capable according to the Steam test, VR there I come!

Best gaming laptop under £1k
This is the best laptop you can buy under £1k.Even when adding 32gb RAM (yes it does support them) and another 1tb of storage (make sure it’s M2 nvme) for which there already is space. Please note this is the 2021 version, not 2022 (which imo looks worse and more ‘gaming laptop like’)+rtx 3060+ easily upgradable+165hz screen+170w fast charge+rgb keyboard with effects+very good cooling+windows 11 and 0 bloatware out of the box+understated design, sleek and not bulky/heavy as well+full size gigabit ethernet port~build is ok albeit plasticky~speakers are average (only 2)~usb c port doesn’t support pd so if you want 2 monitors you’ll need a usb a to hdmi adapter~only 2 usb ports-battery life is very poor even if though it has the 65w/h bigger size one (there are configs with smaller battery and space for sata ssd). Maybe 2-3 hours of browsing and video, definitely under 1h of gaming on quiet mode…

Battery life is terrible
I like this laptop, plays the games I want, but the battery doesn't last at all, and when you get on a train with no charging ports this laptop becomes an expensive paper weight.

Good Value for 3060 Graphics - Worth Bumping Up RAM and SSD
The Q&A section for this laptop is confusing. To clear things up, on delivery there is a spare M2 2280 slot for an extra SSD.I purchased a 1TB SSD and 32Gb RAM (2x 16Gb) and installed them with the help of a basic IFixit toolkit and a YouTube tutorial before switching on for the first time. It took about 10 minutes.Downloading Windows 11 updates, NVIDIA software etc was a breeze. The laptop is a pleasure to use, very responsive and excellent build quality. With the extra RAM, the device is lighting fast. Powered off to completed login takes a couple of seconds. So far I've only tried a couple of games, but the 3060 card is a powerhouse. Tear Down is buttery smooth and Fortnite's Unreal Engine 5.2 "Epic" settings showcase the laptop's abilities with DirectX 12 (all lumen and ray tracing options turned on) - no stutters or lag at all.Very happy so far.

Dead pixels and poor battery life
The laptop itself seems like a good deal but you soon realise that the battery life is poor. I also seemed to have drawn the short straw and got a series of dead pixels on the screen. Big regret purchasing this laptop, I'd go with another brand if I had the chance.

Perfect budget gamer laptop
Very happy with the performance. Keyboard feels good and has great illuminations. The touch pad is responsive and a good size.Screen is as good as you'd need. It can get a little noisy when hot but so does my kettle.

Good video card
You should add extra 8gb plank. There is one plank of 8gb RAM. It is 20£, but you have to remove cover by unscrewing 8 bolts, but you have to be careful pulling plastic cover.Otherwise you will have less RAM than VRAM, because Windows is reserving 2.7-2.8gb.

Best 3060 under a grand
Great for a budget gaming laptop it actually never get too hot even under load max temperature I got this up to was 75°. Great for the price plays most of my games near 60fps no problem the only thing that I'm concerned about is the rattling when I shake the laptop, but a part from that Best gaming laptop I've seen with a 3060 in it
