PetProgo Dog Fence Metal Playpen

This fence has worked out well for our vacation home in the mountains. We have 2 small dogs, 5 lbs and 9 lbs. They are not jumpers. I like that we have a gate at the front of our lot and at the back of our lot. As our HOA requires us to take the fence down each time we leave, this fence is easy to take down and store, and then put up the next time we arrive. Our dogs have more freedom and we can play ball, which was our goal when we looked for fencing. I like that it is easy to put up and take down. The gate area is narrow... obviously meant for the dog to go through, rather than an adult, but we can squeeze though the gate ok. The latches on the gate to open and close the gate did get a little caught up when the lever is pushed too far over due to the way the panel is cut, it hangs up on the short area that is left open - see picture with the circle around it. I solved that by adding a small piece of loop over Velcro, so the latch can only go so far and does not get caught up in the small area. I would purchase this gate again.

Purchased two units to set up in our backyard. We have a growing 11 week old Aussie. Set up was easy out of the box. We will be using another user's suggestion of zip-ties to keep panels together when moving for mowing. This is a nice looking fence. Allows plenty of interior room for running and playing. So far she has not tried to test the strength of the panels. Delivery was fast and actually before the stated time frame which was most excellent for us. Would give 5 stars but waiting to see how holds up in the rain. One user stated her fence has started to rust. If that happens we will probably purchase a couple of cans of rustoleum. This fence will meet our needs until a larger permanent chain link fence is installed. Having purchased several of the connected wire fence systems over the years (smaller playpens), this fence is nicer looking, much sturdier, and gives much more interior space for playtime. Definitely worth the money.

Love this fencing! Very sturdy and easy to set up. We have received so many compliments on it and people stopping to ask where we got it. We use it at our campground to surround our fire pit/picnic area between our two campers so that our dogs could join us without having to be tied up. Worked out perfectly! Driving around the campground, we can see a number of other people have purchased the same fencing based on our recommendation. We have joked that we should get commission from the company for selling so many sets for them. Lol! The only complaint I would have is the difficulty I encounter with the latches on the doors. I struggle to open them and close them. I find it easier just to step over the fence. Currently, we have purchased three sets and may consider another in the near future.

We are so in love with this camping accessory! No more being ripped out of the camper door by the dogs leash. It is sturdy, attractive looking, and perfect height for my Labrador Lemmy. We camp at least 1x per month and this is a life saver! Having the two doors is great too. I’m thinking about ordering a second set for campsites that are larger so we can include Lemmy wherever we are sitting. My only problem is trying to secure them upright when the ground is too hard to push the stakes down. Any suggestions???

The fence was more than adequate for a puppy, but will be lacking in integrity once the puppy gets a little larger in a few months. However, our intention was to use the fence only while the puppy is small, so the fence fills our needs. Works fine and was easy to assemble.

Ordered the 32inch height and got the 24inch. Nice product but too short for my dog. Box was ripped so couldn't return.

Very easy to set up, each panel has offsetting eyelets through which a rod is inserted to act as both a hinge and a stake. Because of the offsets, the panels can be set up over uneven ground, effectively riding up or down the rod/hinge. A far better solution than if the hinges were permanently connected. This also makes it easy to disassemble and transport or move during lawncare.

We keep it in our RV it works great for camping letting our dogs feel a little less restricted that when they are on their leads. My sister in law also has one so when they are with us we join the two sets and it provides even more space for the dogs. Highly recommend!
