These work really well. 360 protection for pipes and wires. Works well with and 1 1/8 Diablo spade bit

Ease of installation. Durability. High quality construction. This is a game changer! Wish I had thought of it. My routing of wires through my studs was made easy and clean with this product. I was able to remove the base board, drill its size, insert, run my cables and reinstall my base board without having to put noticeable patched-up holes in my drywall.

These tubes are great for new work electrical wiring. Since you need to drill holes in the studs anyway just make the hole slightly larger than normal (1 1/8 inch) and tap the tube into the hole. Then run the conduit through the tube and you're done. There is no need to pound a steel protector plate onto the edge of the stud, the tube will protect the wiring. You could also use these for PEX pipe.

Great product. Make sure you drill a straight 1 1/8 hole through the stud and they will push right in with no issue.

Once I realized you have to drill a 1-1/8” hole in your stud to fit these, I didn’t use them. Maybe ok for a 2x6 but seems too big for a 2x4. Just an opinion though. I’m not an engineer.
