Super pliable & easy to work with
This was my first experience with foam clay. I love how lightweight it was on the finished item. While making a number of trim pieces and embellishments for a single item, the weight (and balance) of the finished item were a concern. No worries though - those elements barely added any weight at all.I bought & opened this package in December. I didn't open again for several months, and finally pitched it after spotting faint mold discolorations yesterday (in the final days of May). That's an incredible opened-pkg "shelf life" compared to homemade cold porcelain. My only "complaint" is that detailing and edges produced (from the individual molds) are the tiniest bit softer than homemade or commercial air-dry clays. And that attribute just lent a gentle "weathered" quality to my molded elements, which were simply perfect on the finished product. Had I not seen the same embellishments made from other air-dry clays, I wouldn't likely have even noticed this subtle difference. And speaking of differences: The final finished clay work is like tough, rubberized foam. Sealing the piece provided additional reinforcement. While it's nothing you'll be cutting diamonds with, the foam clay was a great option to embellish a hand-made, customized gift. Bonus: If the recipient drops the finished item, or even drops something on it that makes contact with this finished, dried foam clay, the chance of breakage or cracking of the embellishments is virtually zero.I'm very happy with this product's performance and won't hesitate to buy it again for similar applications.

Wasn't Sure At First!
I'd never worked with form clay prior to purchasing this. The texture is different, but the outcome is pretty cool. If you want something lightweight, this works.I made these about 3 weeks ago. It does shrink (see 1st pic with finished products atop silicone molds). The sheep has no color added. For the last two, I mixed in a small amount of acrylic paint & kneaded by hand before working into the molds. I let all three sit for a few hours before removing from the mold. I'll enjoy crafting with this.

Great for cosplay
Surprising quality for the price, using thin layers over Styrofoam for a cosplay prop. Keep layers 1/4 inch thin and they dry overnight to continue the next day. Hold details well, and paints easily.

Really light weight when dry!
This is a great product for costumes. I was hoping it would be a little more firm. If you are looking for something that has a little give to it, its perfect. I will say it is so easy to use. The bucket doesn't have a large amount in it, but enough for small projects. It is extrem, ely easy to roll, cut and mold into pretty much anything. Its nice that it can be painted so you dont have to buy a bunch of different colors.

Super fun and easy to use!
I’m really impressed with this foam clay! It’s super easy to work with, soft, moldable, and perfect for making cosplay pieces or fun little crafts. It dries pretty lightweight but still feels sturdy, and it takes paint really well once it’s fully dry. I used it to make some costume details and they turned out great. No cracking, no mess, just a fun product that does what it says. Definitely grabbing more for future projects!

Amazing! Check my comment for tips
Love this product so much! The container it comes in is also great for storage afterwards as the product itself comes in a bag inside of it which the foam unsticks from the bag great.I’ve used it for the scale texture on my dragon mask as well as all my small spikes and the teeth. The durability once dried has withheld me being clumsy multiple times. Takes paint really well too! in my experience adheres to Eva foam, kids craft foam, and paper machete really well. A little does go a long way with this stuff, I really thought when I first ordered this i’d have gone through it within the day but it’s very surprising how much is really in the containerHere’s what i’ve learned with this product as i’ve just bought my 3rd tub of the 300g-Use this product before painting your item it will not stick otherwise-Allow for 24 hours for thin things to almost fully cure 48 for a stiff-Your clay will dry over hours slightly so as soon as it’s out start working with it, it doesn’t dry super fast but you’ll want to do touch ups within the hour-it drys from the outside in so if it’s a big item give it more time. Big things i’d give days really-If you are doing say spikes or something vertical make sure you have a structure beneath if it has to dry straight up and down (even small stuff) overnight it will fall a bit- great to create textures, let it dry down a few minutes to insure it’ll stay textured
