easy to use. I have used just about every type of soldering iron. I worked over 48 years in telecom, computers etc including board repair.Aanother way to say this is I have worked from DC(telecom/UPS battery sys) to light (laser communications). I thinks it needs a longer cord for the iron, but still worth the money. I purchased the iron with a complete set of tip.

So I setup the soldering iron and plugged it in and Holy crap the damn thing got to 300c in 5 sec I was like wtf 😳So its minimum temp is 100c and max is 400cDooood I see this becoming my best soldering iron and the rest I'm gonna toss in a bin. I hope it lasts for a long time.

First thing I did was upgrade/update the firmware.Afterwards, I started a small project.This iron works AWESOME-ly!!This is the last iron I'll want to buy. It's just the right weight - nice & light, & feels good to solder with; AND it does a great + quick job at heating up.I know you can change the settings by modifying the startup file, but I have yet to do so.NOTE: When it first came, part of the body of the iron was not screwed together, & I had to force/man-handle it a little bit to pop the 2 body pieces back together so I could get the screw to go in/bite. Was able to do this, thankfully, without breaking anything.After that, everything works great!No regrets, would purchase again/for someone else, as well as recommend to anyone this package (a nice selection of tips to choose from to find your favorite, for future purchase replacements).
