Functionality is great. Having key-less entry availability is a great feature when temporary access for other people is needed. It looks nice, and while it the keypad does not make it look very traditional, it does not look out of place with a classic looking door. Just a suggestion to replace the screws on the strike plate with 4" or longer screws to make the door sturdier against someone trying to kick it in. Same with the hinge screws. The small screws that were shipped with the lock will probably not withstand a good kick.

we moved into a new home - as you know, the first thing you need to do is install a new lock! That's what we got this for. I wanted more than just a new lock and key... so I search for keyless entry options and stumbled upon this nice looking set up. There's a ton of options here on Amazon to weed through. I don't like latch style handles - the kind you get your purse straps and everything stuck on, so I specifically wanted this style of door handle versus the others (even knobs) for easier entry while carrying items. Plus the option of "keyless" entry (with the keypad). I know there's more options out there with the key fob, and thumbprints for more money, but this is good for me and covers everything I need! I'm happy with my purchase and it looks amazing - especially compared to the ridiculous gold basic door knob that came with the house... UGH.

Install was simple. Had to drill a hole for the handle but the template included made it easy. Coding was a little confusing at first but the diagram helped with that. Overall, great product. Forget a key, have a code!

One of the worst features of this useless lock is that every thirty seconds it automatically locks. Which means sometimes as I’ve gone to close it, the lock launches and has then made the internal spring get stuck. It’s been awful for months and there was no way to shut it off. Anyway I guess it finally got stuck for good because I am now waiting for a locksmith to come get me as I am totally locked out. In the past when this happened, my truck has the garage door opener but my truck is also locked.

When I received this lock and saw it for the first time I was very excited about it. I immediately went to install it and it was pretty easy to install. the thing I don't like about it though is that the battery compartment the cover is very loose fitting. I noticed that anytime that I accidentally touch it it does come off easily. this is not a deal breaker for me but this is something that one might want to consider when purchasing this unit. Esthetically it does look pleasing and it is somewhat heavy duty. another point that I would like to make about this item is the fact that you have to have a 6 digit code which is a lot harder to remember than a four digit code. That to me is definitely a star away because I am having difficulty teaching my 5 year old the six digit code versus he easily was able to remember the four digit code from our last lock. Mobile

I had bought a different lock before this one and installed it. It two two people 3 hours! It was horrible. Bought this lock and had it installed in an hour! Unbelievable easy and works great! Highly recommended! And I’m a female installer lol

Nice hardware.

My old one died so I upgraded and couldn’t be happier. It’s fit perfectly and easy to install. Now I can lock it anytime and everyone in the house doesn’t need a key to get in.

Handle kept catching/resisting when it was turned,the handle broke in half,in the 1st week SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

With the same password, when my daughter pressed it, it didn't work. When I pressed it, it worked. And sometimes it doesn't work for the first try. Not sure why.
