Metallic Marker Pens

I recently grabbed this set of Dyvicl metallic markers for all the DIY stuff I do—rock painting, scrapbook pages, card‑making—and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite supplies. The colors pop so well, especially on black or dark paper, which is a bonus since I love working on darker backgrounds. Here’s what I liked: The ink is opaque and shiny—once it dries, you really see that metallic finish (especially the silver and gold). They’re easy to use and the tip gives you enough control to do lettering or smaller designs without it turning into a blob. A few thoughts to keep in mind: On very slick surfaces or very dark/absorbent papers, you might need a couple of layers to get full coverage. Like any craft marker, the bigger the batch of work you’re doing, the more consistent you’ll want to shake or prep them so the color flows well.

So, I got these to actually draw on my boyfriend (darker skin)...shows up great. Even the white shows up. The white, you do have to make a couple of passes, or dab it where you want it, but it shows up actually white. He has also colored in some of my tattoos with these also. On light skin, you have to work to get the white to show up, but it's not vibrant. The others show up decently , but definitely have a better "pop" with a dark background. And they wash off easily.

Very vibrant but smear if you don't let them dry. Luckily I use them for scrapbooking and can give it drying time before pasting them in my book. Still satisfied with them but it was a little learning curve as they did smear quite a bit before I realized I needed to let them dry.

Very pretty colors. Work well on dark cardstock. Nice variety of colors.

These are amazinggggg. Opaque, buttery smooth, glided on multiple surfaces (including pumpkins). Love the colors. Haven’t had any concerns with leaking. Size of them makes them feel very good while drawing.

Poor packaging for shipment. They were in the original package that they would have been when displayed in a store. Tape was run around middle of package over the top and bottom and the package cellophane covering was open when it arrived and box was misshaped. The markers were not damaged. I have tested them on black paper, and they are not as metallic looking as some other markers that I've had. They will be useful for marking for their colors but not so much for the metallic look. It would have been nice to have color names on the markers.

I bought these for a retirement party for people to write notes and attach polaroid pictures to a mini scrapbook with dark blue paper. The pens worked really well. The lighter colors and the metallic hues showed up extremely well. The ink flowed richly. The entire scrapbook will be cherished. Great item, great price.
