Let me start out by saying that customer service is extremely responsive to needs and inquiries (they are in China so mind the time difference when expecting a response).This bag is very well designed and makes the most out of the space, and although I have not used it on a trip yet, I have had others. First and foremost, I wanted a bag this time around with a separate shoes compartment. My past bags have had no separate area to put the shoes in, and although I have shoe holder sleeves, it’s not something I liked, which was mixing the shoes with my clothes.Now the bag itself is made with high quality zippers and each zipper had a leather tag. The bag has your typical zipper opening on top, and the side shoes compartment zipper. Then there are two other zippers, one that gives you access to additional storage on the side of the bag, and another zipper which gives you access to the entire inside of the bag area, so if you are in a crowded area you don’t need to open the top where people can see all your belongings. (This is really a great idea, which I haven’t seen on my previous bags).There is also a zipper on the rear of the bag (about 11 inches long) which again takes advantage of all possible space.The front of the bag has two additional pockets with leather button straps to keep them closed, and keep in mind, these are not just decorative, but can actually be used for small storage items like a cell phone or battery charger.The interior of the bag has two smaller pockets for electronics and one larger one on the opposite side for other needs. If packing right, no reason not to be able to get 2-3 days of clothing in this bag.The bag also comes with a detachable shoulder strap.I have to say this is a very good quality bag for the money and the only reason it is not "perfect" and I would not give it 5 stars is because with the use this bag will give someone over time, it would have been worth it for the company to have put some sort of metal buttons or feet on the bottom of the bag. That is my mistake as I "assumed" the bag would have "feet".Most of the time when you’re placing the bag on the ground, all the material is going to be flush on the ground and this would help the wear and tear on the bag. It’s not enough to prevent me from buying the bag, but it would have been a good addition.Other than that, it definitely is a good bag that should give someone ease of packing and lots of enjoyment!

I bought this bag to replace my 28" 5+ year old Cabala's duffel bag. On my old bag one of the shoe pockets was worn-out (it had two) and it was big, black and nylon. Not that attractive and a bit big for a gym bag. I was tempted to buy another but luckily for me it was discontinued and I found this bag instead. This bag is attractive and seems to be well built. I use it about 5 days a week when going to the gym before work. I believe it will give me several years of use. The shoe compartment will hold my shower sandals and my work shoes and still leave room for clothes. The size has forced me to pack better than my old bag, which isn't a bad thing.I recently took it on an overnight trip and it worked great for a carry on for the plane. (Something my old bag was too big for) I prefer a bag to some hard case wheeled carry-on.The zippers seem to be very sturdy. I like leather zipper tabs on all the zippers. I do wish that the side pockets had the dual zippers like the main compartment but that isn't a big deal since truthfully I'd probably only use one zipper anyway. The zipper by the shoe compartment is odd to me and for my use unnecessary. It allows you access to the main compartment. I am guessing that someone that travels a lot may make use of it if they put something there that want to get to quick but I never use it. The side pocket on the other side of the bag from the shoe compartment is where I keep my necessities. Even though I keep most of those items in my necessities bag, I like that fact that those items are separate from my clothes.There doesn't seem to be a lot of choices for bags that have the shoe compartment in this size. I am tempted to buy a second as I fear that when that day comes that I need to retire this one that I may not be available find it again. I do not think you'll be disappointed if you buy this bag. I have not been.

Great style with enough sections in/out to be totally functional.

I purchased this bag last year to use on an extended work trip. Since then, I've traveled 6 more times and have used this bag every time.Pros:Design - The darn thing just looks cool. The real leather is great and compliments the canvas really well.Features - The "shoe section" is actually pretty useful. I use it every trip to store my less comfortable work shoes while I wear my more comfortable not work shoes. Keeps all the nasty floor/street dirt away from my clothes.Space - This bag can fit a weekend's worth of clothes easily. I've shoehorned a week's worth of clothes in there on certain occasions as well.Handles - There's a handle at the top and on the side so you can hold it vertically. Great for navigating tiny aisles in an airplane.Cons:Pockets - There are two pockets on the outside that have leather straps with buttons on the end. Occasionally, these pocket flaps will come open in the course of walking around the airport, storing it in the overhead compartment, etc. There was one time when I was forced to check the bag due to a lack of overhead space - both of the flaps came open during transit. Thankfully, I didn't put anything valuable in those pockets.Comfort - This may be a problem more unique to my usage and the overall form factor. However, I have found that walking around with this thing can be kind of annoying and uncomfortable after 30 minutes to an hour. That being said, the recommendation would just be to not use this bag to travel around a large city without a car.Otherwise, the thing has held up great and I haven't had any quality issues with it. It's still my go-to bag for trips that last under a week.

The bags growing on me so Ive bumped my rating up a bit.The color is way darker then the photos make it look. Its a dark brown rather then coffee with cream/tan color it looked like. So that was disappointing. Just wish the pictures reflected the color more accurately.Externally it seems good qaulity. Internally the fabric the pouches are made of is thin and seems cheap. I think they will rip eventually. Pretty sure I could rip the pocket out with my hand in one tug. Guess time will tell. Some of the fabric catches in the zippers too.Was tempted to return it but after trying it for a few days its grown on me. Color still kinda works with my stuff and it looks decent. Its not perfect but what is now a days.

Great duffle bag, I took it on two trips and find the size perfect. Handles were in great. Soft mouldable canvas material worked much better then hard case carry-on bags..One negative was that a button / hapse on side pocket was broken upon arrival. I sent pics to the company and they offered a solution, with in very fast response..I do believe however the side pockets with the straps could have a belt style closure and not a button/hapse... super duffle bag all the same... thanks, I was looking for a good one and this is it...

Very weak bag, very useful pockets but very weak... I'm a cook so I travel heavy this thing broke like first month of buying it.... shoes knives books a tablet, some clothes that's it tops weighs maybe 40lbs, strap went zippers went, now it's a hot mess, garbage

This is a slick looking bag. My issues with it are the wierd pocket configuration and the zipper that looks like a pocket, but just accesses the main compartment. Its completely pointless as the main compartment zipper is directly beside it. A second zipper for the main compartment is merited for a top load back pack. In that instance if its on the bottom or side, it allows you to access items without having to fire everything out. This zipper...pointless.

The mens overnight duffle bag arrived exactly as described a few days before Christmas. The item was delayed due to the Canada Post rotating strikes, but was not the fault of the seller. I liked the small scratches in the leather in the two front pockets that gave it an authentic saddle wood leather look. I highly recommend this item and seller for anyone looking for a nice size overnight bag. The over the shoulder strap is nice too!
