The base gel applies smoothly and helps the color polish adhere perfectly, while the top coat adds a super glossy finish that lasts for weeks without chipping.Both gels cure quickly under UV/LED lamps and are easy to remove by soaking — no damage to my natural nails. Love it love it, and I love it some more! One of the best friends I’ve ever had! My friend comes over and does my nails, and this was one of the best investments I ever made and the bottles are huge! So I will have it for a long time! And it sticks better and works better than most other gel nail polish especially if it doesn’t stay on your nails very well

Lemme start by saying this is not an AI review (so tired of those) I absolutely love this stuff! The top coat really is like glass and the matte is so rich looking! 10/10 tbh. The smell isn’t super strong and it takes a while to start chipping. I used it over a pair of press ons that I bought and I love it

Ok. I am by no means a professional but I love to do my own nails and I don’t have the money to keep up with the salon. So I did a bunch of research prior to purchasing and couldn’t decide on if I wanted to go with an acrylic or gel kit to start doing our nails at home. I came to the conclusion that gel would be easier in the long run (lol) because I wouldn’t have to focus so much on shaping the acrylic (I think I have PTSD from the drugstore KISS acrylic kit 😩).Anyway, I first bought the little one finger lamp and let me tell you, it will NOT work. 16 watts is not enough. You will spend hours doing your nails for nothing. You can’t even tell that the gel is uncured with an insufficient lamp because it WILL (and SHOULD) stay tacky,. up until you apply the top coat!!! Then, it will peel off that same day or the following day!!!! SO safe yourself the frustration and MAKE SURE your lamp is CAPABLE of curing your gel!!!**BUY A DECENT UV LAMP!!!! 24-36 watts!!!!**(My suggested routine below is based on a UV lamp ONLY!! I believe LED lamps cure faster and I have no clue what the difference is aside from that. my UV lamp is 36 watts.)Also, ONLY BUY PRODUCTS FROM THE SAME GEL POLISH BRAND. I cannot stress this enough. I’ve read many horror stories from people using incompatible products and the coats not working together, thus hours of your time wasted.All of that being said, once you have your lamp set up, your base coat, gel polish, and top coat ready to go, also put some acetone in a glass cup and have a few thin brushes handy to clean up around your nails, and a good nail file/ OR e-file!!! Okay now time to get to work. You can choose to apply tips like we did, or just apply base coat to your natural nail bed- only AFTER prepping!!! My routine below.Step 1)Push and TRIM cuticles. (Select your nail tips now, if you plan to use them.)———-2)BUFF your natural nails..100% removing any shine while roughing up the surface.———-3)DEHYDRATE AND PRIME those nails. You can use a combo of isopropyl alcohol and 100% acetone!!! I recommend one hand at a time.. because if you rub your face or touch your hair you WILL need to reapply your dehydrator/ primer so that your nail glue/ base coat has something to stick to!! (NO natural oils allowed!!)———4) (OPTIONAL) Apply nail glue to false tips and nail bed, press nail down at 45 degree angle applying pressure until glue is completely dry (if you prepped properly and chose correctly sized tips there should be relatively NO AIR BUBBLES)———-5) (optional) Trim/shape nail tips if you’d like.———-6) BASE COAT, clean up with acetone dipped brush if needed, then CURE for recommended time on back of bottle (I believe I went with 2 MINS to be safe) *NOTE* your polish will now be tacky!!! So be careful touching stuff to avoid fuzzy’s getting stuck in your polish!!!——-7) APPLY *THIN* GEL POLISH COAT, clean up around edges if needed, CURE for 60-90 seconds. I personally did 2 minutes for each coat to play it safe.——-8) Second THIN gel polish coat, cure——-9) (Optional) nail design or glitter accent nails… then Cure.——10) YOU MADE IT!!!! APPLY YOUR TOP COAT carefully!!! Don’t get too confident here be sure not to apply too thick where it ends up on your skin because that can cause lifting later on. CURE FOR 2 mins!! It should NOT BE TACKY. If it is tacky you need to cure longer as this is a NO WIPE topcoat, meaning there should be NO stickiness.——-Enjoy!!! I know you worked hard to get here!!! Wear gloves if you’re going to wash dishes, clean, basically anything that could ruin your nails. If you notice any peeling or lifting FILE around it. DO NOT PICK. If you want to remove your polish SOAK IN ACETONE covered cotton balls in some foil, or you can buy little tips that hold the acetone. Then gently scrape it off. Let’s be kind to our natural nails 💅Ps. I personally bought the beetles full cover medium almond tips and they are really nice!! But too long for me personally, I trimmed mine (purple nails) and my stepdaughters are not trimmed (blue photo)My gel polish is the beetles dreamy aesthetic and I could not be happier with the color selection for my first purchase. Works great and no residue after curingThe bottles do like to leak i recommend keeping them in the box they come in and place them upright so they won't leak.There is a smell but anything nail related will have a smell its just not give you headache type smell.

This base and top coat duo is a gel nail game changer! Under blue light these dry so fast and have a smooth finish. The gloss coat is my favorite. The shine lasts days looking new! I recommend!
