These work great for shucking oysters as described in description. Would buy again. Like the handles that are easy grip Rubber. The gloves are nice and are mid-weight cloth. I have mid-size hands and they fit snug enough to be easy to work with the shucking oysters. Would buy again if needed.

My boyfriend had seen many a hand injury from people trying to shuck oysters, one of his favorite foods.So, when I got him this set and a cookbook with delectable oyster recipes he was doubtful, but guardedly curious. After reading instructions in the cookbook, he shucked a dozen oysters with no problem, and he was amazed! Even more so when we used a recipe in the cookbook and quickly cooked them in an air fryer. They made delicious "po boys." He couldn't stop saying, "I can't believe how easy this was!"We appreciate the cut resistant gloves and the rubber grip handle on the knife.

This is a pretty decent shucker. I'm no expert but I love oysters on the half shell, and this makes it much easier than a screwdriver. Not sure it will shuck hundreds, but for home use it should last a long time. Have not used the glove yet but it is a nice addition if you do shuck a large number at a time. Definitely recommend.

durable great handle

The oyster knife and gloves worked like a charm. Exactly as advertised. The knife handle fits comfortably in my hand, the blade fit easily into to oyster shells that I bought on Amazon.

I wanted to love this kit because it comes with everything you need for a good price. The problem is it is tough to get the shucking tool into the oyster shell kind of thick, but you won’t cut yourself.
