Black Bamboo Velour Reusable Makeup Remover Pads - Set of 5

I really like this reusable pad. I try to reduce my waste any where I find feasible and this totally does the trick. I like tht they’re black, it’s been over a year and mine still do great, and are still soft. It took a little while, a “breaking in” period if-you-will, for the pad to absorb liquid (remover) better. LOVE that right up front the description tells you what it’s made out of (so many others don’t ever say.) Buying more now.

They are very thin and large. For the circumference they should be wider. I actually like how large they are but they are too thin to be that size. The bamboo velour is not as luxurious as I’d hoped. This is because the fibers are very thin and short! The fabric underneath the velour shows through when I wipe them across my face, making them a bit scratchy. I wanted to support sellers on Etsy (this seller sells on both platforms) so I actually tried numerous different reusable cotton rounds from different sellers, but I think these are my least favorite. I suppose they do the job but I would prefer something with more width that will absorb well and be easy to work with.

I bought two sets. The dark color is great for removing makeup without worrying about stains. This works well when followed with a good face wash and toner. The main downside is that they're not as effective at removing makeup as regular cotton rounds. I'm experimenting with different makeup removers (water and oil-based) to see if something will make them more effective. Overall, it's still a good buy.

I bought these because I wanted a sustainable alternative to cotton pads. I use them for applying toner and removing makeup. They're very soft and I love that they're black, so they won't show stains. My only critique is that sometimes they leave behind a small amount of black fibers. This may not be an issue after a few runs through the wash.

A lot bigger than a regular cotton round–it doesn't fit in the same place I used to keep my cotton rounds–but super super soft and great at not soaking up cleansing oil so more product goes on my face than being lost. It is also rather good at taking off clay masks while not staining the fabric.

I bought these because I realized I went through a LOT of cotton pads and that was just not sustainable. So I got these. I have nothing to complain about with them. Their size is perfect and I love that they're black-- I can see my makeup come off, but it doesn't look disgusting. They did shed a teeny tiny bit when I FIRST got them, but that was it. I use these every day and give them a little rinse when I'm done and dry them on my soap dispenser. All good. I also wash them once a week and they still come out super soft and fluffy and delicious.Five stars. Perfect size, perfect color, they wash very well (they come out good as new) and they just work! No complaints.

My reaction is very "meh." These were a disappointment for $10. The fabric isn't very absorbent, and the two layers together make it impractical to remove makeup without applying a lot of pressure.A plain cotton rag does well. I'll be buying a black one and cutting it into smaller pieces for this purpose.

It was hard to find black and handmade, but these were perfect. It does take a little getting used to because liquids don't absorb quickly, but just wait a beat and it'll be good. Great way to reduce waste!
