Update: Don't expect it to last
UPDATE: Not work the effort if you plan on keeping the car. So it did work pretty good at first, had some other issues with the engine so I went ahead and rebuilt it, bore it, bigger pistons, everything new, runs great. When re installing the turbo after the rebuild I noticed a little play in the compressor shaft, not that big a deal I thought. It had been sitting for several months while getting all the parts together and getting the machine work done, figured it was dry, so I ran fresh oil through it before the install. Got the car running an it seemed to be doing great, but over time it seemed to be creating less boost an started suffering with Turbo lag to the point of concern, and around that time I noticed a noise when the engine gets shut off. Come to find out it's the turbo spooling down. And it's loud. As another note, this car had maybe 1200 miles before the rebuild and probably 5000 since, and two oil changes with Mobil 1, first one at about 500 after break in an another one at about 4000 miles. Also using an aftermarket oil cooler to keep the oil temps in check. So now I'm about to take the original turbo, but in a cartridge like I should have done to begin with. So please weight your options before getting one of these. It's not the easiest Turbo to R&R.I left my original review here so my first impression could bee seen.I bout this as a replacement for the one that came in the mini we bought our son. The old one was trashed. So I was just going to replace the cartridge until I saw this one. With disbelief I did my research and didn't really find any negative. It came very well packaged, seemed to be of similar quality to oem. Installing was as easy as it could be without pulling the bumper, no biggie, but when I finished the install, I mean everything back together completely. I noticed it was about a half a millimeter away from the valve cover I just installed. Just had to loosen 4 bolts an spin it away to get it away from the head a little. Not enough to subtract a star in my opinion. Just know check the alignment of the turbo before finishing everything. Cus it's not all that easy to loosen bolts that's virtually impossible to get to when installed, I just can't believe I didn't notice it before. This review comes almost 4 months after install. Would recommend to anyone wanting higher quality for less. I like to wait on stuff like this because for being this cheap, you never know, just like the cheap valve cover I bought, it's toasted already.

It's fit but keep leaking so I need to return it
Here is my story: I'm trying to save some money to change the turbo, with the mini dealer giving me an estimate of around $5000 to $6000. So I bought this turbo for my 2012 countryman, spent a $1557 labor fee to put it on, and it fit perfectly until it began to leak oils. Then I need to pay for a new turbo that has a warranty and not leaking, ordered from the car shop, and pay again the labor fee and tax which is approaching $4500 in total; by adding other expenses, the car fix cost me $6775 with tax. ...........

Great Customer Service
Excellent Customer Service! Unfortunately this part did not work out for my car...but their customer service was superb! They messaged me in a timely manner and answered any questions that I had.One advice I would make to new and inquiring customers is to double check to see if their parts are compatible before purchasing...I wish I would’ve done that. But other than that...I would definitely recommend this company, solely on customer service and quick/effective communication with them. I’ll be looking forward to using them again for any of my other Mini Cooper needs!

Decent quality for the price, better than I expected.
Replaced a turbo with 120,000 miles on it with this, immediately felt improved power 3000 miles on this turbo and zero issues , hardest part about replacing the turbo was just removing everything in the way to get to it, so far I am very pleased.
