Q: Why is this a copied crate part for part from the true creators and patented designers/manufacturers, impact dog crates???

This is not an impact crate, I’ve had an impact crate and there are many differences.

Q: Is it tsa approved m?

To our knowledge, TSA does not have an approval process for crates or kennels. Perhaps you are thinking of IATA, who regulates and publishes global guidelines for animal transport on planes. There is no official IATA approval process for crates. K9 Kennel Boss Collapsible crates meet all of the guidelines for IATA except for the newly published guidelines in 2023 regarding a rear spacer bar. We are working on making a rear spacer bar available for our crates which should be available in the next year. The new rear spacer bar guideline seems to not be widely implemented or 'required' yet.

Q: Does it come with a mat or pad?

It does not come with a mat or pad. I've found that the Primo Pad brand - "East Coast Crates" series of pads in the 'Series 400' size (34" x 22") fits perfectly. Those pads also seem to be very well made and durable - https://www.primopads.com/product/primo-pad-east-coast-crates/
