From plugging the system in its very, very simple to set-up following the easy to understand instructions. The sound is crisp, even at high volume. The remote control is easy to use, especially when you have downloaded the two apps and use from your phone. The unit is very compact, which will slide into a separates stack system. Functionally, I am over the moon with the system. I loaded the FM radio and it automatically found all stations. The same applied to the DAB stations. The system found far more stations than my other DAB radio. I have saved the best stations till last. The Internet radio station has surpassed my expectations and blown them out the water. I was able to select a specific genre and found over 1400 stations in that genre. This will allow me, over time, to really hone in on 40 stations that I can save in the preset stations. There are 40 preset stations for FM and 40 preset stations for DAB. So I have 120 preset stations in total. Fantastic. Last but not least the CD player plays perfect sound. There is the option to play all the music on my phone. WOW!!! I haven't checked the rest of the functions in the system, but I am sure I will be as happy as I am already. Overall, I am confident that this purchase has been very good value for money. Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but one thing I have learnt in life, you get what you pay for. If you want Top Quality You have to pay a Fair Price. Looks Beautiful and Sounds Beautiful. If you are a fan of radio stations, and happy to discover new International stations then this is the Perfect Solution that will have you discovering new stations a year from now. Your only dilemma will be which are your 40 favourite stations you want to save in the 40 presets. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed if you buy this unit.

Great quality with a nice weight to it. Easy to set up and add presets. Comes with 40 for internet radio and podcasts combined, 40 for DAB, 40 for FM and 10 for Spotify. Much better than other brands I'd looked at. I bought it for my bedroom but it would be great in the lounge or kitchen as it's a bit bigger than I expected but that was my fault for not checking the measurements. If I didn't already have my amp and speakers set up in the lounge this would be in its place. It's now got pride of place on my chest of drawers and the handy remote works brilliantly to go through the modes and stations. Volume is loud, I had to turn it down to 13 but it goes up lots higher than that. The sound is much better than I imagined and extremely happy with my purchase. The screen is perfect and displays artist and song with a perfect brightness. Will buy more Majority products in future. Already eyeing up the pc speakers.

I wanted to replace an old Sony cmt cp100 CD player given to me by my parents with something more up-to-date, and based on reviews went for the Majority Quadriga. I’m not a huge audiophile but I wanted something with a reasonably flat response as I listen to anything from modern jazz records to the worst, crumbliest, live operatic recordings from the 1930s-60s. I find that most headphones need significant equalisation to play flat and as such most old recordings sound either horribly hissy or alternatively boomy. No such problems with this system which makes everything sound great. Obviously it’s not going to give the same results as equipment costing thousands upon thousands of pounds, but for anyone who is not an obsessive audiophile this should be completely satisfactory. The streaming option sounds lovely, the CD player even better. The bass is strong and effective but not overbearing. The highs are clear but not piercing or intrusive. Mids full and rich. It is loud enough for a small room though compared to the Sony system I replaced it’s unlikely to deafen you if you turn it up to full blast. Not a problem for casual listening but maybe not ideal as a party speaker though on full it can get quite loud depending on what you’re listening to. I hear little, if any, distortion. It’s a very attractive unit and feels well made and sturdy. I don’t listen to radio so can’t really comment on other features. If I had one tiny complaint it’s that when streaming Bluetooth from my phone it skips a little if I’m trying to do other things on my phone at the same time. I suspect, however, that this is an issue with my phone rather than the Quadriga as my iPad plays perfectly smoothly no matter what I’m doing on it. Highly recommended, excellent value for money.

I decided to return to CDs after many years and rebuild my collection. Was looking for a small, inexpensive but decent sounding CD player, not bothered about radio. I ordered 3, this being the most powerful and most expensive. It looks good, works well and sounded very powerful, being the only one of the three I tried with a subwoofer. But I sent this one back, mostly because although I was searching for improved bass, even with the preset EQ options, the bass frequencies were just too overpowering.

I have just finished setting up my new MAJORITY QUADRIGA audio system which arrived two days ago and I am really impressed by my purchase, it is bigger than I had envisaged but considering it contains three integrated speakers that's not surprising. The build quality of the system is excellent and very solid and the package contains a very comprehensive instruction manual and with only one mistake which I made by entering the wrong wi fi network code, the installation Wizard soon navigated me to a functioning system, in with my first C.D The Proclaimers greatest hits, wow! I knew after the first notes that I had bought a great system, I'm delighted with it.
