*First, I almost didn't get this as people on here saying that the thread wears out, checked it out and it turns out you need to lubricate it.* In general, you do not lubricate a nitro cold brew dispenser's beverage contact components . Proper maintenance focuses on regular cleaning and sanitation to prevent clogs from coffee oils and sugars. For mechanical components like tap handles, a food-safe lubricant may be used sparingly if they become stiff, but cleaning is the more frequent and critical task (To protect the aluminum threads on a nitro dispenser, you need to prevent two major issues: galling and corrosion . This requires careful handling and the application of a food-grade lubricant.) That said I haven't tried the dispenser yet but it arrived in great condition, looking forward to my brew, cheers ALL :) UPDATE: This needs to be addressed, I nearly returned this item like someone had said on here that the dispenser tip wasn't screwing, the nut that is attached to the Karafe has to be removed in order to screw the dispenser tip,don't throw it away though, it can be screwed back on in the even that you would want to screw another type of decoration tip,now I'm all set up,I since have cancelled the return ! Pic #1 comes with photo # 3, remove and screw your dispenser tip but don't discard, you will need it if you want to decorate with pic #2 -3 tips.

I love this! It uses a full cartridge every use. The quality is really good. It makes excellent coffee. The glass jar and lid, all of the seals - everything works as expected. I mixed some baileys in before infusing with nitrogen and my oh my is it good!

Update: threads to the charger stripped at just over a year. No way to communicate with seller. The glass brew jar could have been a little larger, when you pull the grounds out there is less than 3 cups left. N2 cartridges are not super cheap to find but overall is a bit cheaper than buying your N2 coffee at a brand store. I use medium roast coffee’s ground one step finer than absolute coarse grind setting. A 32oz maker size needs 2 N2 cartridges. Makes a very good substitute for the brand store coffee.

Product arrived damaged and broken Metal nozzle does not screw on properly Quality sub par at best / do not buy

We’ve had this product for less than a year and it leaks constantly and doesn’t hold the nitrogen gas. There’s been atleast 4 or 5 leaks that have caused a huge mess in the fridge. We’ve thoroughly cleaned it, put all the parts back together and still have the same issues. I tried contacting the manufacturer for support and troubleshooting but the website is a dead link and there’s no number to call. Super frustrating and a waste of money. Highly recommend buying a difffent brand - this one has just been a pain.
