Great value
Solid Kit for the Price – Perfect for Small Network Jobs I grabbed this network tool kit to tidy up some Cat6 runs at home and it’s honestly a great little setup for the price. The crimper feels sturdy, doesn’t flex under pressure, and makes clean, solid crimps on RJ45s. I’ve used it on both Cat5e and Cat6 cables with no issues. The tester is simple but effective — just plug both ends in, flip it on, and it tells you right away if your pinouts are correct. The punch down tool does its job fine for keystones and patch panels. Nothing fancy, but it works. Everything fits nicely in the zippered case, which makes it easy to keep organized (and not lose those tiny connectors). If you’re doing light to moderate cabling work — home networks, small office setups, repairs, etc. — this kit covers everything you need without breaking the bank. Pros: • Crimper is solid and comfortable to use • Tester works as expected • Comes with RJ45/RJ11 connectors and punch down tool • Handy carrying case keeps it all together Cons: • The connectors are okay quality — fine for most jobs, but I’d grab extras if you do a lot of terminations Overall, it’s a great value kit for techs or DIYers who just need a reliable all-in-one set for network cables

Network tools
I recently purchased the Gaobige Network Tool Kit for Cat5, Cat5e, and Cat6 cables, and I’m very impressed with the quality and performance. The kit includes everything needed to cut, strip, and crimp network cables efficiently. The crimping tool feels sturdy and well-built — much better than cheaper alternatives I’ve used before. The cable tester is simple but effective; it quickly helps verify that each wire is properly connected. The extra connectors and stripping tools included in the case are a great bonus and make it a complete set for anyone working with Ethernet cables. The carrying case keeps everything well organized and easy to transport. Whether you’re setting up a small home network or doing professional installations, this kit is reliable and convenient. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a durable, all-in-one networking tool set.

I’m impressed!
I’m a former electronics technician. This is a great little kit to keep in your car or home if your a Diy’er looking to have an all inclusive kit for a small job or for future upgrades and service. I have all these tools, individually, at my permanent home, in a much higher quality, including a better tester/tracer. I needed something for my summer place, after my router went down and I decided to replace everything in my network because it was slow, old and out dated. I need to trace out and clean up my wiring and move a few clients off of my AP’s to Ethernet connections to clear up some wifi traffic. Hopefully this kit will do the trick! Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very low cost kit, but I’m impressed for what you get for the price!. It only has idiot lights for Continuity pin-out testing, but that’s all you really need as a diy’er. I’m only giving it 4 stars but If it craps out early than expected I’ll report back! If it last a year I’ll up the rating. But for the price you can’t go wrong!

Perfect for home networking and running new cabling
Perfect little network kit for quick cable jobs. The crimper hits clean, the tester saves a ton of guesswork, and all the included bits make it a solid all-in-one grab-and-go setup. Used it to whip up some Cat6a cable runs from the bottom of my garage to the second floor bar and everything worked first try. Great value for anyone who does even occasional networking work. Instructions included for replacing rj45 ends on Cat cables as well as using the network sniffer and other included tools for full functionality.

Good quality, directions confusing
Overall, I'm really happy with this toolkit and highly recommend it. I have a lot of tools, and I can spot garbage pretty quickly. This is not garbage. Well constructed and precise. Actually, I'm super impressed with the cost/quality ratio. At my local Lowes, just the crimper tool was over 2x the cost of this entire kit! Some things to note: 1. Have extra wire/cable and connectors and plan on screwing a few up while you learn the tools and get them calibrated for what you are doing. 2. I have never needed this tool until a squirrel chewed through a security camera feed CAT5e cable. So, I had to screw up several times to get it right. 3. The instructions are mostly good. But... There is a confusing section where it attempts to tell you how to line up the 8 wires in the CAT5e cable. The problem is that the first, and larger image, isn't the order to follow. You have to look at the smaller image, and ignore the larger one. It would have been great if the user manual editor would have clearly shown the correct order to arrange the individual wires in the larger image. 4. Really, this is an AWESOME kit for a great price! Just watch some YouTube videos on how to properly construct a new cable. Build a few cables to get the process down and it's actually really easy. 5. You might consider buying/ordering extra RJ45 connectors as the kit only comes with five, and you might choose to sacrifice those as part of your learning curve. 6. Lowes and Home Depot both have bulk CAT5e cable. My local Lowes had it for 9 cents per foot, or $9 per 100 feet. Compare that to pre-packaged for $28 / 100 feet.
