Works great.

I must admit that I didn't have high hopes for this one. I wasn't expecting it to be like the original, but I thought it would be better than nothing. This is a lot better than I had hoped. It works just as good as the original batteries and they actually charge quicker. I bought it for my son's old RC car and now it's as good as new. The battery life is just as long as before too.

My use case for these is a bit odd since it isn't for an RC car, but rather for my toilet. Originally my toiliet ran off of 4 AAs, but the humidity from the back tank where the AAs were stored had corroded the wiring and the storage spot for the AAs. So I tried to build out a better battery from lithium cells, but I mostly use 18650 cells, which operate ~3V-4.2V, which doesn't make 6V easily because the cells would be dead from the 3V standpoint and too high of voltage over 6V, so this seemed like a great solution. These are NiCad cells in a 5s configuration, so the top voltage should be 6V (1.2Vx5 cells), which is absolutely perfect for my needs. Since I got the 2 pack, I also wired these packs in parallel to get double the capacity, so we will have 3,000 mAh instead of 1,500 mAh. Overall, I am quite happy with this product! Perfect batteries

I thought I did good by replacing my batteries in my small solar light with these. When I first installed these they fit, and worked well. "Worked well" for about a month on one light, and for about 45 days on the other. Now they won't charge and are worthless. Big waste of money.

We lost the original batteries, and this was a great replacement. My kid is happy to be playing with this RC car again!

This is a package of two rechargeable batteries as found in selected toys built a few years ago. The toys ordinarily come with one battery and an external outlet-mount charger. With Ni-Cad’s, 20 minutes of play is followed by 5 hours of recharging. This represents a lifetime to my kids. Nickel Cadmium is a technology which has lower lifetime, energy and different voltages compared to modern batteries. It must be used in any equipment where it was formerly installed.This is the rechargeable battery found in favorite toys. The pack is made up with 5 size AA nickel cadmium cells welded end to end and covered in thin plastic. A special SM2 connector is attached which assures correct installation in either the toy or the charger. Having a few charged batteries around can keep the fun going a little longer. The charge should be fresh as these batteries lose about 15% of their energy each month.These batteries are marked “Do not discard in trash.” because the cadmium is hazardous in the environment. Handling these sealed packs is not dangerous. I plan to recycle my old Ni-cad batteries in the containers of a big box store.Highly recommended.
