These felt a lot thiner and stickier than same brand previously bought . They have left a scorched mark on hob that can't be removed. They were used no differently fom previous ones I I am so angry about this

I have a new induction hob and wanted to keep it looking good, so after reading the reviews etc thought I'd try these. Been using them (got all sizes) for a week now and my hob still looks new! No marks at all, simply put one of these protectors on and the pan doesn't slip and slide. So easy to clean too. Great!

So glad I brought these. Really wish I’d of brought them sooner. Pans don’t slide around and this is saving any more scratches to the hob.

I went for the large round 28cm mats. And have only used them on my induction hob. They are very thin, probably about 0.5mm and lay more or less completely flat. They are very non slip on the cooker top and pan without feeling tacy to the touch. This is great on the hob but depending on what you are doing with your pan it can feel a bit odd on the pan as it is rooted in place. They work very well, protecting the hob without seemingly affecting the cooking process at all. They have a good working temperature range but might have problems if cooking with dry pans, e.g. cooking steaks although at least one other reviwer had said they did this with no problems. I've not got them very dirty yet but they are easy to clean. The price isn't exactly cheap but I bought a very expensive set of pans mainly because they had very smooth bottoms so they wouldn't scratch my hob, with this you can buy any induction pans you like so it might actually save you money. Highly recommended.

It must be very weird to put something on a cooker that is not a pan or some sort, and then turn up the heat. But that's exactly what these are for and when you've spent several hundreds of pounds on a cooker, you know you want it kept clean and scratch free. Thankfully you have these induction mats. I have to say I have been wary when using them, but so far so good. I will come back in a few months and will update if anything changes... for now, definitely recommend.
