I wanted to find something to replace my nasty dish sponges and these are perfect. Not only are they compostable but they do not hold onto bacteria or any have any smell (even after months of use). They are rough, yet soft enough to not scratch the dishes, and the size is comparable (yet slightly smaller) than a normal sponge by the time it’s been soaked and expands. They dry relatively quick and they soften really quickly as well. They last a long time but will slowly break down after time, however you get so many it’s easy to replace. Great value on these compared to the more manicured ones I’ve bought in the past. Love!

We love these sponges. Once you learn the amount of microplastics released from a classic sponge you will want ti make the change! We switched to these because they are eco friendly and don’t leave microplastics on our dishes to consume. They are quite costly, but one box has lasted us about 6 months and we are only halfway through the box! They never smell even after a week of use. They are quite small, and it’s definitely an adjustment, but use them for a day or two and you’re completely used to it and don’t remember any other way!

I like these little scrubbers, made of natural materials. They are not very big (a little bigger than a Brillo pad) but they last a long time and they are great at scrubbing off stuck on food. I have reordered several times, never disappointed.

My family has been trying to reduce waste and eliminate as much plastic in our lives as possible and can across these. I really liked the concept of the sponge for a non toxic alternative but once I started using them, I found they weren’t very durable, were very thin and weren’t cut in a way that maximized the abilities that the loofah has. I ended up just ordering whole non bleached loofahs and cut them myself!

Don't rehydrate as well as I expect. Still they are great for scrubbing.

I love these sponges! I toss them into my compost when they break down too much. They are great scrubbers and each one is unique!

These are so convenient! I can use it and toss it. It's just a dried and flattened loofah, so I don't have to feel bad about tossing it. I'm sure you can compost these, but I'm a little wary because of the chemicals from cleaning products. They are easy to hold, clean really well, aren't too stiff, and don't seem to scratch surfaces. It's well worth the $20 for these.
