Works great! Have a multizone HVAC system. Connected receiver to a 120V relay with NC contacts to control an individual zone damper. Works great to control the temperature in a bedroom that was always too hot in summer & too cold in winter. Controller is simple to set up for cooling or heating.

This little guy works very well. As an A/C mechanic, I found it to be perfect for temperature control on a window unit,as the thermostat on them is notoriously vague... I have 2 issues though. The instructions are hard to follow (translation).And the room temperature display was almost 5° off! Compensating for this, it's a nice little device that controls room temperature much better than the "stock" cooling control.

Portable heaters typically have a set range of about 1 degree causing the heater to cycle anoingly often. These control units do a superb job of regulating a set range of your specific low and high temps. Plan on changing the batteries of the remote at least once a year. I put Velcro on the remote and stick it to a wall and use it just like a wall thermostat. The remote has additional funtions making it very usefull.

I have been very disappointed with the accuracy of the thermostats on electric space heaters. They seem to have a range of 4 to 5°, which is noticeable and can be uncomfortable. This product is the answer! It maintains accuracy to about 1°. There is a clicking sound when it comes on and goes off but it’s not objectionable. The remote control is very intuitive and easy to operate.

Obviously the people who designed this do not understand how a thermostat works. Much too complicated to program. Absolutely not worth my money. This should be real simple: set the temperature you want, and let it do its thing. One temperature. That should be it.Last thing that disappointed me is that once you programmed it and it’s running you cannot change the set temperature by pushing ONE button to go up or down. You need to go into program mode and diddle it for a few minutes. That makes it a pain at 2am when you wake up and try to turn the heat up or down in your bedroom.

Just what I wanted

Once you figure out the over complicated programming, you think you have it. Wrong. It has a beep alarm function that lets you know the remote is either close to the desired temp or at your max range. It is the loudest most annoying beep in the world. So loud, camping in a campground, inside of the camper, you can hear it outside. God forbid you want to do anything like sleep, because I assure you that ends the moment the beeping begins. I needed the ac, but I didn’t get any sleep because of the beeping to let me know I was close to temp range or above. Tonight, I will be using a on off switch to run the ac over this annoying little seemingly useful, but absolutely regrettable purchase. Save yourselves some money, frustration, and time and look for something else. I wish I would have.

I bought this to control a small heater in my pump house. It was very easy to set up and seems to work quite well I only give it 4 stars, because there's no indication on the display that the Bluetooth is connected. To ease my concern, it set it to come on at 35 degrees and off at 45. I plugged in my heater, then nestled the sensor in ice cubes. Sure enough, the heater came on at the correct temperature.
