We had way more ice this winter than we usually have I bought these to wear on our walks, with and without our four-legged-friends. They provide great traction. I put them on my walking boots and left them on until the ice was all gone.

Easy to use and with good traction.

I ordered 2 pair of these. A pair for myself(XL) and a pair for my wife(L).I'm using the xl's with my Keen size 11 men's hiking boots. They fit easily, with little effort or pulling to get on. The spikes are almost too deep/long, but do a great job of providing stability on icey surfaces or snow. *I'm not sure how durable the spikes would be on hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete, as they may be susceptible to bending (?). And I'm sure they will tear up interior floors.*I would recommend them - great value for the price.

These things are great on ice. Only problem is that, while can order replacement spikes, they come with no directions as to use them. You need something like a riveting tool, but not.

The cleats worked.

I think the product is fine, the rating is because they don't fit per the size chart on the site. Order larger than you think you need.

When they say these are good for "flat only" surfaces, they are right. If your foot twists a bit to the right or left, the front part of these twists too and you end up walking with half of the cleats in the wrong position and useless. Also - when I kept trying to fix the position and pulled tightly on the strap - it completely snapped off. In my opinion - don't waste your money unless you are just out leisurely strolling on a flat surface.

These are easy to use and seem to be very durable. Ice fishing is a lot easier on my leg muscles now…with these. They grip and are a great value for the price.
