Truck DID NOT START with this ICM. There were misfires on the old ICM... seen some positive reviews and thought id give it a shot since it was 12 bucks. Waste of my damn time and thermal paste

I was having #3 Cylinder misfire on my 96 Chevy Silverado C1500 5.7L V8 and though this was the culprit so I took a chance since my original is 27 years old and I'm restoring my old baby to it's former glory. GMT400 Truck making a come back. When I installed this Ignition control module and my computer finally relearned the new part. I now do not have a code P0303, number 3 misfire reading on my OBD2 scanner. My truck preforms like it was new again thanks to this part. So far it is functioning like it's suppose to. It was a fantastic price as well so I figured, why not give it a try. It arrived very fast as well and easy to install on my truck. Very pleased with this product so far. Would recommend giving this a try.

2001 5.7 Chevy engine. I removed it and kept it for a spare. PO351 Ignition coil A primary / secondary circuit PO300 Random / multiple cylinder misfire detected New brand installed and codes were gone.
