Great resource for anyone writing essays. This is an easy to navigate and understand guide. It was a required text for multiple classes I had to take. I highly recommend for anyone who needs help with formatting and siting sources.

This manual is just what I needed, a quick go to tool. I use this for every question I have when citing my sources in specific forms, it’s so throughout. My professors are always impressed with my work. I recommend this to anyone who always have questions with writing and wants answers in one place rather than googling everything, which you often cannot do while in class.

Purchased for our son who was in his first year at College.Very helpful Quick Reference Manual. I like the fact that it includes instructions for MLA, APA, Chicago, & CSE Papers. The information is clear & concise. A large part is "explaining" what is or isn't correct about a particular part of a format. Examples, when provided, are usually just one. But still this is a great Manual for quick reference material. But do not expect this to be a stand-alone help book. When my son needed more detailed explanation, or a series of different examples of the same topic, he had to search the Internet for specific articles on the topic. So it's a great help book. But like many quick reference guides, if you need more detailed examples or information, you will need to look for that information elsewhere.

Don't have style? This book can teach you how to be the most stylist person in your English class. No, not advice on haircuts or bellbottoms, but definitely a go-to when you need to write a convincing argumentative paper for your prof. He is the one who can probably use style points. Here it is ....use dashes, not a line of dots.....

It wasn’t clear that this was a used item when I purchased. It’s clearly been used for awhile. Pages are bent and have marks/stains. Not horrible, so I still kept it, but it wasn’t in the condition I anticipated.

Great product for English Composition class. Definitely recommend getting. It's small and not heavy, easy to carry and contains most of needed guidelines for essays.

I refer to this book constantly when I write. It contains the three main referencing styles in an easily searched format, with example papers. The small, portable format makes it easy to carry around in my book bag all semester. The sections on what to actually write (e.g. how to avoid plagiarism) I think are superfluous, either you know what you're doing or you don't. Overall, a very useful reference.
