A very nice, very special hardcover of a great book. Hard to believe Winnie is 100 years Old. First Copyright 1926. ENJOY!!

Beautiful book has fun illustrations throughout the book. Great quality pages. The book came with no damage was not packaged in plastic. Definitely recommend this edition. Excited to add it to our collection. Would make an excellent gift for kids. Love the cloth textured cover.

My grandchildren love these stories so very much, and never tire of looking at the hand-drawn pictures. I fondly remember the whole AA Milne series from my own youth, more than 70 years ago now, but the original heirloom volumes are too fragile for small hands. The timeless prose, child-pleasing wordplay, and clever juxtaposition of reality and fantasy has lost none of its appeal for me. It seems no less delightful for the bright young minds of my son's 2-year old and 4-year old offspring. Every detail, down to the interior red-line maps on the front and back endpapers, "Drawn by NE and Mr Shepard Helpd" capture ideally the essence of the original, and take me back all those many years to simpler and happier times, when the whole world seemed custom built just for children's enjoyment.

O livro é lindo! Não tenho fotos porque foi presente, mas a edição é incrível, minimalista em cada detalhe. Fiquei apaixonada!!!

Ein sehr schon gemachtes Büchlein, mit der Replika des Originaltitels von 1926 und vor allem, die Zeichnungen von Ernest Shepard. Ein Minimalmanko ist die "moderne" Rückseite; minimal deswegen weil es nicht auffällt wenn das Buch im Regal steht, auf dem Lesetisch oder in der Hand liegt; und irgendwo muss ja heutzutage ein Strichcode und eine ISBN hin. Die mir vorliegende Ausgabe ist im sogenannten "rough cut" geschnitten; das passt hervorragend zur nostalgischen haptischen Aufmachung des Buches. Wer das nicht mag soll sich halt eine Kindle Ausgabe kaufen, äh, mieten und sich nicht drüber beklagen. Als nächstes kommt noch die Beschwerde, dass ein englischsprachiges Buch auf Englisch ist!

Lovely book, unfortunately the quality is appalling. Every single page is a different size. It really ruins the nostalgia of such a classic piece of literature. Considering this book was not cheap, this is very disappointing indeed.
