Fits well on proper mil spec rails
I've tried mounting this optic on 3 different 1913 picatinny rails, one is a Unity QD riser, one is a Radian upper, and the last is a Mossberg 590 rail. The optic is rock solid when torqued down on all 3. Although it works fine on proper spec rails like these, there's definitely out of spec picatinny rails out there that the optic doesn't torque properly on.This is actually the fault of Crimson Trace for questionable design on the mounting clamp which pretty much ends travel at the precise spot where the clamp achieves proper torque on normal picatinny rails. So, if your picatinny is somehow off spec on the smaller side, it's not going to work. Hope they address this in future versions. It's a very good red dot for the price.

looks very cool but wait
It does not fit the standard 1913 picatinny rail in LWRC IC-DI and any other rails I tried. Theres a lot of wiggle, tolerances are too large. Not made in USA. you can fix it by adding tape on the rails to make it fit but why would want to do that.
