Liquitex Professional Light Modeling Paste. 237ml (8-oz)

Got the light modeling paste instead of the original and it’s amazing for smoothing 3D prints. It’s already pretty thin and airy so I didn’t need to add water much. It does dry fast, which is definitely a good thing time wise, but I recommend scooping small amounts into a small bowl to work with so you don’t dry out the tub by leaving it open as you work

If you want the texture of heavy paint but don't want the waste and expense of using the costly paint you can get the effect using this. I put this on the under painting and it holds peeks and patterns then after it is dry I paint over it. I have been successfully selling postcard sized paintings using this product to create a more interesting product and this what the customer goes for... texture. This is my second jar and it will not be my last. For the fun of it get a jar of this and experiment and you will be pleased and help create a piece of work that will be more likely to sell.

I bought this to create fake cake frosting for an art project. The texture is very similar to actual frosting. It was easy to mix in acrylic paints to color it (don't add too much or else it'll get runny and not keep its shape). It's also very easy to add into a piping bag and keeps the shape very well while drying. Please be aware that this shrinks a bit when drying. I had to use a bigger piping tip in order for the fake frosting to dry and shrink down to the actual ideal size.

This is the first time I use this product and I really liked it. It was perfect texture, easy to use and the final product is beautiful.

Estaba buscando algo así para hacer texturas y volúmenes y la primera prueba me ha encantado :) además puedes mezclarle un poco de pintura acrílica y así darle color. Yo he probado pintando con una distress y una acuarela transparente con glitter y me ha encantado el efecto. Voy a seguir experimentando pero sin duda es lo que buscaba. No sé si se verá muy bien el efecto en la foto pero de verdad queda genial.

Does not goes on canvas well

J'ai utilisé tout le pot, la pâte est parfaite! La texture est bonne, ni trop dure ni trop liquide, elle accroche bien la toile et résiste au temps!
