My son is 10 years old. He had a field trip coming up and the forecast was supposed to be rainy that day. I bought these to be on the safe side. They came in a small pouch all folded up making it super easy for him to keep in his back pack. He ended up taking both in case a friend didn't have one and it worked out. They both used them and it covered their entire bodies and kept their clothes warm and dry. They're thin enough not to get too hot and thick enough not to worry about them tearing or leaking. We were happy with them!

I returned this product as for the money it’s not worth it. The material is very thin which can tear off very easily. Also the sewing was on the wrong side, it was not looking good on front side, so the overall finish is pretty bad. All I liked was the style so gave 3 stars and ofcourse it will protect from rain but for that I would go buy a poncho which will be much cheaper because anyway this product is not worth the money.

Bought this for my son whose 7years old, since he was going on a field trip to zoo and weather didn't look so good for that day. It's very light weight, super easy to button, a bit long below knee but thin so he's not so hot.

I like the fact that the rain coats can be wore over the child's outwear coat, that way the raincoat can also be used when it snows.

Do not buy these!!! The yellow turned my kid’s jacket, shoes, outfit, and parts of our stroller yellow once it got wet! I cannot get the yellow out of his brand new Native brand shoes (not every oh cheap ughhhh), Columbia brand coat, or other clothes with resort soap and water, nor any of it with a tide stick either, We do not have access to a washer and packed a small amount of clothes, so this beyond frustrating. I’m unsure if the color will even come out, so I’m warning you, do not buy!!!

Thank goodness for these kid sized ponchos. We used them almost everyday for our trip to Disney World. They were a little big for my 5 year old, but he's on the small side.
