GE WB18T10343 Spark Ignition Switch

My GE Profile gas stove oven had one burner valve that did not trigger the ignitor. After pulling the faceplate I was able to remove and reseat the switch. It was a temporary fix. I would prefer to have moved it to a burner valve to a valve and burner less used but since the assembly is not modular that was not possible. The new switch assembly fixed it permanently. The price is high but it beats replacing the stove all together.

For the last few years the auto lighter on my stove intermittently didn’t work. It finally went into a mode where it clicked all the time even when off. I had to disconnect the power. Fortunately the internet taught me that this failure is common. This part solved the issue. The price is steep for a wire harness. But it sure beats spending $800-$1000 on a new slide in range.Make sure that you turn off the gas before you attempt to replace this part!

Worked great to replace the old grimy one. Be careful when you clean your ovens. Don't over saturate because it seeps into this thing. Eventually you'll get the click of death like we did. Wasn't all that hard to install.
