Elite - RIP Away EMT LITE Coyote Brown

I bought three different IFAK Trauma MOLLE/PALS Pouches. This Condor Rip-Away EMT Lite Pouch, Condor Rip-Away EMT Pouch (full size), and the Maxpedition FRP First Responder Pouch. This Condor Rip-Away EMT Light Pouch is literally exactly the right size to fit my trauma load out. With that said it is a tight fit and even if I wanted an extra roll of compressed gauze there's no way it would fit and it was important that I packed everything in a certain way to have it all go in. I could order an external PALS Tourniquet holder to attach to the side and make room for a few more things but then that defeats the purpose of an all in one pouch and puts the price point up there with the Maxpedition FRP. The pouch material appears and feels to be good quality, the stitching is good, the layout of the sections and elastic bands are good, and the zippers worked without any problem or strain even though the pouch is packed to it's max. One thing important to point out is the MOLLE/PALS webbing is implemented correctly unlike about 90% of the pouches on Amazon that claim to be MOLLE but really aren't because the spacing is all F'd up, but Condor got it right so it's not a generic run of the mill Chinese manufacturer pouch. Overall I'm extremely happy with this pouch which I can't say the same about the full size version as it's actually a little too big and I wasn't thrilled about the internal layout. The Maxpedition FRP would be my favorite as it has just a tad bit more room if I wanted to add a few more things and I like the layout just as much as this pouch but it doesn't have the rip-away feature which I was really looking for so this pouch actually takes first place. I'm going to be returning the full size pouch and ordering one more of the EMT Lite pouches. I'm also keeping the Maxpedition FRP pouch because it's also awesome and one of the pouches doesn't need to be rip-away. These things are just great. They are the perfect size and dimensions for most of the packaged items you would put in a trauma kit. Its on the larger size of an IFAK that you would wear on a carrier, but it does work. The following items all fit in comfortably without folding or bending them and still have some room to spare: CAT tourniquet, Celox gauze, NAR compact chest seals, NPA tube, 3”x3’ kerlix roll, decompression needle, gloves, forceps, sharpie, pen light, and you can tuck a pair of shears into the side molle loops or behind the Velcro panel. The craftsmanship is definitely good enough and isn’t going to fall apart on you. It’s just a very well thought out product that is a fantastic value. If I had the money I would get 10 of those and outfit them all with items listed above and give them to family and friends and have one close anywhere I go.

Overall this is a decent product. At this price point, you are doing okay. As far as durability goes, we will see, I tend to be hard on gear, so it will get a work out. It won't be subjected to daily carry in the field "The Ultimate Test", but will see abuse. It is a basic pouch, so you can't complain too much. I do find it silly that an EMT pouch does not come with a first aid patch at the very least, and I would hope they include that in the future. Yes, there is a small red tab, but it is covered when the pouch is secured by the retention strap. If it is intended to signify "First Aid" logic dictates that it be clearly visible. In the end it should do the job, time will tell.

I have only had this pouch in use for a short while so that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 on durability but it is well built and holds a good number of items: Tourniquet, 4” Israeli bandage, quick-clot pads, burn treatment pads, bandages, gloves mask, sharpie, scissors, gauze, etc. I originally bought the full size Condor EMT tear-away pouch but it was too big and took up too much real estate. Great product. My one complaint is the Molle straps on the back don’t hold it as snug as I want. The pouch hangs a little too loose. Other than that one thing, excellent.

Just what I was looking for to build "Bleed Kits" with. Perfectly holds: Full size trauma shears, Recon Medical Gen 4 tourniquet, SWAT-T tourniquet, OLAES 4" bandage, Nasopharyngeal Airway, Nicron N7 swivel head magnetic AA light, 2 pair nitrile gloves, Sharpie marker, Chem Light, Space Blanket. There's also room for a decompression needle if you know what to do with it. The backer can mount to a MOLLE platform or the kit itself can just stick to the loop material on the back of a vehicle seat so this can always be at hand.

Great product, seems to be durable (although I haven't had it very long - it has been with me on two hikes so far). Keep in mind - you can only put so much in this pouch - but excellent for me.

I bought the larger Condor EMT pouch first. But it's pretty big for a belt application. Bought this EMT lite and I was able to put everything from the bigger pouch except for one Israeli bandage in it. TQ is mounted separately on the belt outside of the EMT lite pouch for obviously good reason. Will be using the bigger pouch to make a more complex med kit with some booboo band-aids, etc included. Very happy with the EMT lite.

I'm building up a first aid kit that covers more than just abrasions and minor injury, I chose this pouch because it offers quick access and good management options which make it great in emergency situations
