Bought this for a diy project but NYE came first so .... have you ever had the intrusive thought of holding a roman candle despite the warning tell you to not to? I figured out this is the safe and easy way without wasting a zip tie every time you light up a new one. It is light weight and clamp very tight, no slip. Great for my up coming wood working project i imagine.

These clamps are great for their intended purpose. Because of their general convenience, they are the clamps I reach for first. They are easy to use, with an quick release that lets you easily move the clamp tighter or looser. The quick release works easily even when the clamps are fully tightened. The clamp can be tightened one-handed, which is very convenient when you are trying to line up the materials with the other hand. They have good clamping force up to about 80 lbs, which is enough for most gluing or other light-woodworking projects. They also have a soft surface that keeps the clamp from denting the wood. Of course they don't work for everything. 12" sometimes isn't long enough, and sometimes you need more force, such as if you are trying to clamp straight a bowed or twisted piece of wood. But they are much quicker to use than messing with C clamps or parallel clamps and I never have to worry about them marring the wood.

Not as heavy duty as my dewalts, but a heck of a lot cheaper. Use for lighter hobby projects

I searched the listings for a mixture of sizes at a cheap price. I expected these to be flimsy but only needed them for a small job. Actually quite impressed! For the money, they seem great value and pretty solid.
