24W Power Adapter

Perfect for my lacie external hard drive. My lacie drive wasn't working with the wrong power supply adapter that I had I presume because the wrong power supply wasn't supplying enough power to this lacie drive. Turned this adapter up to 12v, plugged in the conversion adapter that makes the plug fit and boom, working.

Bought a total of three after testing the first. Using to power a fountain pump rather than wasting time with a solar panel - these are of limited value in NE Scotland! Have set to 7.5V and pump is running perfectly. An unexpected bonus is that the default barrel connector matches the pump connector without the need for adapters. Will shortly convert second fountain to use this adapter and then keep the third unit as a spare in case of any problems. Recommended.

This is a useful piece of kit. It supplies a muiltitude of DC voltages between 3 and 12 volts and has a pretty good choice of connectors. The voltages obtained on a no-load test with a multimeter were all slighly higher than the nominal voltage. This is to be expected as voltage is going to drop on load and is certainly preferable to a power supply which delivers a reading below the nominal voltage! (See the chart in the 'photos' for my test results). It comes complete with a little tool to change the output voltage, so no need to find a screwdriver. My only criticism of this device is that it doesn't include either a mini-USB or a USB type C. The former is what one might find on a soundcube circa 2012, but the latter seems to be the industry standard now and it's present on most things that have come into my household over the last few years. These bits and pieces can be picked up elsewhere (I already have one) but it's a pity it's missing. This is a competent device - it does what it says it will do and it tests out OK.

A bit lightweight in build, wobbly connections and unreliable...so, enough about me and to tell you this is a good little unit for the price. Versatile and easy to use. Very nice

Perfect for my christmas tree when the original transformer went missing. Fit well and didn't need to change fitting but additional fittings are so useful to have. Also able to change the voltage so no worry about over voltage issues. Happy with item. Thank you

Small and compact with a green light when in use, tips work fine, clear instructions in English (though not really needed as simple to use), does not get hot or even warm in use, well packaged in small box
