My wife was working to pursue her CCXP certification and this book really help to review the key topics. Good book to carry as a refresher.

Helped me pass the CCXP exam (with room to spare!)
This book was an especially important part of my (successful) preparation for taking the CCXP exam. The book has two major sections, both valuable. The first, the author's 18 principles (some general about CX, some more specific to the test) to follow while taking the exam, gave me a straightforward framework to use while preparing. Did I remember all of them when I took the test? Of course not! But they did inform my choices during the test, and it worked out pretty well for me. These wThe second, a set of sample questions, were helpful in two ways. First, having 40 sample questions allowed me to test my knowledge on the full array of CX competencies, sometimes from multiple directions. I could see, very quickly, where I needed more help. But the real value was in the detailed explanations given with the answer key. Those, more than anything, helped me unpack the questions and see not just where I went wrong, but why. Those 40 explanations laid the groundwork for much of the prep that followed.I recommend the book highly. It's an inexpensive way to test your CX knowledge before you decide whether you need to invest in additional (more expensive) study materials, etc.

Fantastic Preparation for the CCXP
If you are taking the CCXP exam - buy this book! You'll be so glad you did.I've been a business consultant in this field for many years so I thought I wouldn't need any preparation to pass the CCXP exam. Just to be safe, I purchased a different preparation course and figured I would "cram" with it a few days before the test. I had a busy schedule so I only set aside the day before the exam to study. When I opened the course I panicked because I realized that there was a lot on the test that I wasn't prepared for. That course I had purchased was very frustrating because they (very slowly) told you about "topics" on the test, but they didn't actually teach them or even give you a good overview and references. I realized that I would have to do a whole lot more preparing on my own and would likely fail my first attempt at the exam.Luckily, I had also purchased this book. I pulled it out, went through the 18 principles, and started going through the sample questions. Just from the book, I had new hope that I might actually be prepared. Then I saw the related website at ccxpexamsimulator.com. I bought the prep course on that site and dove into the two full sample exams. Going through the 2 exams was almost all I needed. Michael does an amazing job not only simulating the test (and therefore preparing you for the "trickiness" aspect of the questions) but also in explaining why the correct answer is correct and why the other answers are wrong. Then they give you a study plan based on how you tested.I watched only the videos I needed. And I was actually listening to the last one on my way down to the exam. The test was really hard. The questions are very tricky and you really have to pay attention to the nuance of the wording. Michael's sample exams were excellent preparation for this. I sweated all through the test and at the end, I still didn't feel solid on a lot of my answers (the questions often seem subjective and I couldn't choose between 2 final answers). But in the end I passed with over 90%! (you need 80 to pass)I can honestly attribute my success in passing on my first attempt to this book and its related website. I am very impressed at how well thought out and laid out it is. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

A supplementary material
I found it very simple and straightforward. You can finish it within one day.however it is not offecial exam preparation guide nor a book to learn about CX from, I hate that the book was referring the reader to other resources and it is clearly stating that the book should be used a supplementary material.on the sample questions, some questions might give an impression of (multi answer) while all questions should have one correct answer.Overall I found it useful and I enjoy reading it.

A must have in preparation for the CCXP
This book is a great tool in helping prepare for the CCXP exam. When I knew I wanted to take the CCXP, this was the first resource I purchased. (Note: I had already read Outside In: The Power of Putting Customers at the Center of Your Business and Chief Customer Officer 2.0: How to Build Your Customer-Driven Growth Engine.)For me, this book was a wake up call. I breezed through the 18 principles to quickly get to the 40 practice exam questions. That's when I realized the exam may not be as easy as I had originally thought. I quickly reset and and read through the principles again with intention, which helped me narrow in on some key points that I overlooked the first time.Based on the practice questions in the book, I also headed to the CCXP Exam Simulator and signed up for the Platinum Package. The book itself it a great resource but partnered with the simulator it's the real deal. Both the book and simulator help you better understand how the actual exam poses questions and how you are expected to think through them.I credit Michael's resources in helping me prepare and successfully pass the CCXP exam (scoring 100% and over 90% in a couple pillars). Even if you're an expert in CX, this book is a worthy investment to level-set on principles and the exam experience.
