*This set of three floating shelves perfectly displays books, pictures, plant or anything else you can think of up to 50lbs (when properly installed) * Invisible, floating hangers (hanger style may vary based on availabity but always invisible floating hangers), hardware, and easy to follow instructions included with every beautiful set. *Exposed edges now perfectly finished with 1/4" round and the backs are recessed to allow the shelves to sit flush with the wall. *We wanted a way for The Falling Tree to really stand out against the competition so we've added a few steps and made some very exciting changes. You may notice that our shelves measure 1.5" instead of the standard 2". The reason for this is two fold, number one is they actually start at 1.75" even others listed at 2" are, in fact 1.75". Secondly , and one reason we do it better is every shelf we sell is run though our planer at 175 cuts per inch to ensure there is no warpage and that you get the highest quality material exposed. Next we cut a grove in the back about 1/8"x3/4" so that when the shelf is hung the hangers sit inside the shelf completely and you can't see any gap between the wall and your shelf. Then, we use another router to perfectly round the front and side edges 1/4" round. for a more finished look. Next they are sanded, stained, given a light coat of poly clear, sanded again, sprayed again and shipped to you. You'll notice with research that some reviews on other companies similar products that people feel they just received lumber from the hardware store. Sadly some companies are trying to get away with that but not The Falling Tree.
