Good product. Make sure you have your own tools to put it together though.
Strong and sturdy, assembly easy as long as you have your own tools. The tools they give you to put it together are trash. Other than that though I am very happy with my purchase

Horrible instructions but best product out there at this price, maybe at any price
I was skeptical, but the price was right. I can see how some people might have a very hard time putting this together with the instructions provided. Note to buyers: while the assembly instructions are horrible for this product, once put together, it is literally built like a tank. seriously, I would be surprised if there is a sturdier "mount it in the doorway" pullup bar made by any company for any price. Having put together a car engine in the past and being handy with mechanical things, this took me about 20 minutes to assemble and I had no issues. Hints to buyers: 1) Lay out all parts on tabletop or wood or vinyl floor as positioned in drawings. Make sure your kit contained enough bolts. 2) Scrap the included wrench and use an actual ratchet and socket. 3) Reserve the 4 lock washers for the 2 front/side wide-grip pullup handles (the ones with the foam grips). 4) Take your time and don't tighten anything until unit is fully assembled. I weigh 200 pounds and mount the unit in a prefab metal doorway narrower than recommended by the product listing. 5) No problem for that logistic either: Take a flat screwdriver and a pocket knife. Slide the bumper strips off the unit, break off the end caps, carve out the extra plastic (takes less than 5 minutes total, seriously); reassemble and presto: now you can use this unit with even narrower doorjams than 24", no problem. Because the widegrip pullup foam handles extend way beyond the doorway width, you can easily turn a super narrow bathroom or closet doorway into a pull-up or chinup station. Excellent product, can't recommend it enough. My ONLY criticism is that one widegrip pullup handle has maybe a 5 degree tilt to it compared to the other one, which is straight across. This is the only sign of uneven workmanship for this product. Solution: alternate the direction I face when doing pullups, to make sure that I am working each side of my body/each lat evenly. Shipping was very prompt in a Priority Mail flat rate box.

Sturdy enough, gets the job done, but some minor quirks
First off, assembly: 1. Before you start, note the U-shaped bar in step 1 is not symmetrical. One "end" of the U-bar has an end cap that has to be positioned toward the outside BEFORE you bolt the angled hand grip in place. This is not indicated in the instructions. I didn't realize it till later and had to unbolt and re-assemble both U-bars so they were orientated correctly (yes, I guessed wrong on both of them). 2. Included wrench is small and seems a half size too big, making it awkward to hold in place. Use a decent 10mm box-end wrench or socket - unless you don't have either. Secondly, quality: After a week's use, the product seems sturdy and very usable. No problem handling my 230 lbs. I like the available different hand positions. Also like that it fits our 36" wide doorways. Only gripe here is the foam hand grips were squashed flat from being packed in a tight, flat box, and they haven't reshaped themselves. Not a deal breaker, but guess I'm stuck with that. Overall, not quite 5 stars - 4.5 or so.

Stable & reliable
Purchased a different pull up bar a year ago & already it is broken & wasn't able to hold my weight! Since I'm 5'3" & 135 lbs soaking wet, I found that very disturbing. I bought this one because of reviews & I'm NOT disappointed. Wanted to wait a bit to give my review to see how it performed. Put it through the paces for 5 weeks & have no complaints. When you pick the doorframe you want to use, it comes with brackets that attach to the top of the frame to help stabilize the bar. No more falling off the frame. The bar itself is amazing. Several different hand hold positions for different workouts & you can bring it down to the floor for push-ups & planks. Quality metal, easy up easy down and easy storage. Would suggest this bar to EVERYONE wanting a home gym.

But it gets much worse. Included in the hardware was 5 locking washers
The main bar is supposed to be one single solid bar. It even shows in the instructions as a single (1) bar. In fact the bar is two bars that interlock together. This creates a wobble in the center. It does not even bolt together in the middle, its a "twist and lock" style. Furthermore it means the whole setup is never truly together. It's not solid. There are bolts to hold the back together (where is hangs above the opposite side of the door frame at its highest point.) and bolts to hold each end of the pull up bar to the structure, but again, its not locked in the middle. It's only a strong as it's weakest point and in this case its very very weak. Do you want to hang your body weight from a "twist and lock" bar that wobbles in the middle every time you pull up? That right there is enough to warrant a return. But it gets much worse. Included in the hardware was 5 locking washers. No where in the instructions does it say where to use 5 locking washers. It doesn't even say it includes 5 locking washers. I wouldn't use the drywall screws they include to hang a picture frame, much less my body weight. Take a look at the pictures I have attached. This is the bolt they included. Not only is it defective and damaged on the carriage bolt head, but it is bent fresh out of the box. Assuming you could bend it back into place it would never be sturdy because the bolt head is completely damaged. The rest of the bolts all have excess casting on the heads (meaning there is excess material from the poor manufacturing process). Not only that but each and every one of the bolts was off center. This product is beyond poor, its actually very unsafe. Thankfully Amazon is awesome as always and returned it no questions asked. However this product deserves less than one star.

Perfetta! Non rovina il muro o gli stipiti (che però devono essere piatti) ed è molto stabile. Le diverse impugnature consentono diversi esercizi e sono morbide il giusto. Facilmente assemblabile con gli attrezzi forniti. Grande acquisto!

Item was damaged (the foam grip) and the bolts are too short. One piece bar is nice but it does still flex a lot.
