The media could not be loaded.  I think these are nice quality easy-grip scissors; they have a continuous loop design (no finger holes) and just need to be squeezed to work (a bit like pliers except the scissors spring back to their starting position automatically).The scissors are fairly large (approx 8” in length) and do need a fair bit of pressure to work - less so if you position your grip higher up the handles - personally I was expecting them to work with lighter pressure to make them easier for children to use during cutting practice and paper crafts. They are functional though and easier to use/master than regular scissors.They have “R” printed on the packaging but I think they are inherently ambidextrous due to their design and could be used with either your right or left hand. They’re being sold as children’s scissors but I think they’re a practical design for quick effortless snips for paper crafts and general use, cutting off clothing labels and tags etc; some people may even prefer them over regular scissors! I can also see them being useful for adults who struggle with dexterity issues or have joint pain/weakness in their fingers and thumbs.You get two scissors for the price (individually packaged).

Both had a really nice design and finish so any of the plastic parts is not moving loose by itself.Scissors had a very comfortable and easy to use loop that you don’t need to put finger in the holes - they are perfect for kids and adults with hand moving difficulty. Scissors allow easy cuts with not so much energy use from hands. They are as well great for training with cutting. Just need to gentle squeeze to work and then they spring back to starting position.The size is fairly large.They came with a plastic lid so as they are open with start positions with lid will not be exposed all the times and will be more safe.I think mostly they are for kids / adults that are right handed but I have a feeling that left handed will be able to use them as well.Can highly recommend the product and for that price you’re getting two pairs.Great purchase!

I got these for use in early years childcare. Although they do say for use aged 4+ I have an older 3 year old who wanted to try them too - he is as big as an average 4 year old but found it hard to squeeze the scissors shut still, however that might well be more to do with hand strength that develops with age rather than size. On the other hand I have problems with my hands due to arthritis and personally found these scissors were easy to use myself.On the carboard sleeve these scissors come mounted on there is a picture of a hand with the letter R which I took to mean that they were only for right handed use, when I looked on the description though it does say they can be used with either hand but on trying them out as left handed scissors the paper sometimes slid sideways between the blades rather than actually cutting the paper so I can't really recommend them for left handed use.

The media could not be loaded.  Great scissors which are easy to use for small hands and even with your left hand.Forgive the awful video but it shows me cutting cardboard with my left hand whilst holding my phone in my right hand and I'm right handed.So much easier to use than traditional scissors so perfect for young children. Like the way they spring open automatically after each cut. Brilliant design and would recommend.

This pack of two self-opening scissors comes with a lock-in-place protective guard that kids will probably not be able to accidentally opening it which is a good thing. The pair of scissors are symmetrical so it may be used for both left or right handed users.The pair of scissors is quite big and wide, you do need a hand that is big enough to use this or else you will find it difficult to squeeze close. This would not work so well for younger children as it is quite stiff to close if your hand is not big enough to grab the handle properly.This product is good for people who struggles with normal scissors for whatever reasons. It is quite sharp and gripping well. Not the most good-looking product but works well if it fits your hand and you have enough strength for it.

These scissors came on a cardboard backing in a plastic sleeve. They are a nice dark purple colour so very unisex and the size is good for all age groups.As the scissors have a very comfortable and easy to use loop, you don’t need to put finger in any holes to work the scissors. Therefore they are perfect for kids AND adults with difficulties with grip in their fingers or hands.These scissors allow cut easily with not much pressure from the fingers or hands. This again makes them great for adult with weaker hands or small children who don't have the dexterity and finger strength to cut certain things yet. They also spring back to the open starting position on their own by loosening your grip.The nature of these scissors means the blades are open "at rest" but they come with a thick plastic sleeve that clips over the open blades so no accidents happen.They are ambidextrous as you just flip them over to use in another hand (great for a classroom setting or if you have kids who have different dominant hands).At only 3.99 for TWO pairs of decent quality scissors, you really can't complain.

I used these to teach my 3 year old how to cut paper for the first time. They are easy to hold and cut with and I like that it comes with a protective cover. 5 stars would absolutely recommend to any parents who want to teach their child how to use scissors for the first time.

Scissors are fine. Seller is not. I am missing one of two scissors (listing says 2), I want the second set but I’d have to return it to get the second item.😤😤
