Excellent tool
It works perfectly as described. I joined several pieces of wood to make a table. Each dowel lined up perfectly. This was much less expensive than a joiner and accomplished the same job. In very pleased.

Worth the money.
Made cabinet doors. Worked really well and made the job so much easier. The only time it didn’t work out was my error. Wish I had this years ago.

Dowel centering tool
Used to make wooden countertops. It works really well for centering dowels. My only complaint would be the indexing marks are difficult to see. I had to use a flashlight to be sure I was lined up correctly.

Works with some adjusting
Great concept but does not line up directly center. When drilling, make sure you keep the same sides that you will be gluing to the top side of the jig.

Dry happy hobbyist tool
Really helps to drill perpendicular holes in picture frame type projects

Nicely made, but design flaw ruins device accuracy
The product is well made with a steel center piece that holds the drill guides rather than aluminum. The aluminum ones typically have some sort of steel insert pressed into the larger drill guide holes for 7/16 and 1/2" drills. Since this guide part is steel, no insert is needed for the large drill sizes. The drill guides that fit into the two threaded holes are a bit sloppy on the proper sized drill bit, but good enough for pretty accurate hole to hole alignment.I followed the instructions to center the steel drill guide on the workpiece. Took a bit of fiddling, butI got it nicely centered. The problem with this tool is the guide holes in the blue clamp plates are too large to keep the drill guide from wiggling when drilling a hole. Two guide bars keep the blue clamp plates parallel to the drill guide. Unfortunately, there is enough slop in the blue clamp holes that when the drill flutes rub against the drill guide, it causes the steel guide plate to wiggle. Best look elsewhere if you need accuracy.
