It's pretty much exactly what I expected. Except ... I didn't think I'd get the wee flowers, too! :)Perfect little addition to the corner of my writing desk; just the right size, not too big nor too small (see pic). The only caution I'd give is that the bottom doesn't have any pads or felt attached, and it's rather a rough surface. So be careful where you put the vase until you add something on the bottom, so as not to scratch your tabletop, etc. (It's not hard to add something; not a deal-breaker.)It comes in a small box inside the shipping box, so it's easy to wrap for a lovely gift. Even comes with a gift card to sign! The card is inside the box, but the box easily opened and then retaped. And the vase is very nicely packed with protection so should reach you still in one piece. A lovely deal for the price!

The media could not be loaded. Is holding up well around kids, you can put real flowers in and use the fake ones they sent when those die as an in between. Love it

Exactly what I wanted, and as described. I would give this five stars if it had felt or fabric on the bottom so that it didn’t scratch furniture. It’s ceramic. It’s not a gloss finish, it’s matte, and a little rough like fine sandpaper. The bottom is.VERY rough and if not careful, it WILL scratch your furniture. I will be adding little felt tips to the bottom. Since it is so very porous, not certain it will truly serve me as a fresh flower bud vase. I was hoping to put a single stem Gerber Daisy from my garden in this when I have visitors in my guest bedroom… But since it’s porous, it’s likely the water would seep through the container. I’ve yet to try it for that purpose, but it’s darling, with the two artificial tulips that they sent with the vase.

This vase was ordered as a Birthday present for my friend. I did open the package to check to see if it was broken...it wasn't.

Its uniqueness

I specifically ordered because it was labeled red in color. What I received was more peach in color. Came with peach colored flowers as well. I will keep it in hopes that I can repaint it in the red color I intentionally ordered. It is cute and pretty solid.
