Silly Songs

Bought the tape because it was so cheap. The shepherd and lamb on the tape cover kinda tells you songs might be religious, but I agree, it would be nice to tell customers that in the product description. The words in some of the songs are super-silly (read - stupid). In spite of this, I love the tape! The tunes are very engaging, to the point that I find myself listening to (and singing along with) this tape all the way to work after I drop off my son at his daycare. My toddler son likes these songs too. This tape is one of the only two children's song tapes that I keep in my car for my son's entertainment. For the money, it is a nice tape to add to your collection.

I bought this for my son to listen to in the car when he was about 9 months old. He's now 16 months old, and he's still loving it! In my opinion, it's not one of those children's CD's that just drives you crazy with annoying songs. I find him trying to sing to the songs in his own little way. I gave this a 4 out of 5 because I thought the description was a little misleading. There aren't as many tracks as I thought because the CD replays itself in a different sound mode.

Had these for my kids as they grew up on cassette tapes. Ordered for grandkids and they love it!

This is a cult classic! If you want to send an annoying gift to some "friends" with children, this is it! The rhythm and horrible talent will have the parents watching it committed to an insane asylum after just a few episodes of their kids learning these songs. The kids watching it will play it over and over and over and over again! They will not get these songs out of their mind! It's a great gift to those deserving it.

My son grew up watching this video. I loved watching him interact with the video, by singing, dancing, hand movements...he was just totally involved in the songs...Now at 18 he is purchasing a DVD copy for his new baby cousin in hopes he will have as much fun watching as he did growing up. Definitely a keeper & one to pass along to new little ones...

My Grandson loved the songs

The songs are great, but they are mis-named.It plays the song before the one you select.For example, if I try to start 02 - John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt, it plays 01 - Dry Bones. If I try to start 03 - Wise Man And The Foolish Man, it plays John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt.And so forth.Someone needs to correct this.

Prefect condition

It keeps my 2 boys happy and content to stay in their car seats. As they are just learning to talk, they make the words even sillier. Cant do without it.

Great CD. A lot to learn from it.
