Im not a baker, but tried a recipe for scones. We did have some cutters years ago, kept on a little rope and hung up ready for use, but they got binned. These are great, they come stacked in their own little tub, now kept in the cupboard with the other things like potato ricer, measuring cups, and yes, even a rolling pin!

Good for cookies...
This is a great set if you just want to use it for cookies, pastry or playdough, & I'd give it 5 stars for this - colourful & functional. The advantage of plastic is that they hold their shape better than metal, & are great for the kids to use.I knocked a star off because although they are described as cookie cutters, not icing cutters, I was hoping the smaller sizes would work for icing cut-outs too, however the edge of the plastic just doesn't give a clean enough cut on icing. I'll probably still buy a small metal set too, to get a cleaner cut for my icing.

Great for new bakers
When you don’t want to fork out a lot these are great for new bakers and are great for the price, you get a variety of colours in the cutters of different sizes making the shapes bigger/smaller. They also store very well (into one another) which saves you on storage worries. And the quality of cutting is precise.
