i think it is the same version, simply a new bottle. On the bottle it says 'New look'

Does it thicken your hair

Yes It is hair thickening shampoo

Is it suitable for oily hair?

I can only speak for myself, but I have quite oily hair and this shampoo deals with it very well . My hair is soft and comfortable after washing - a must for me - and it lasts that way for a few days. It does not make my head dry and itchy either, which i hate. All in all, a great shampoo.
