Holy Bible: King James Version, The Scofield Study Bible III, Duradera Zipper Black

I've received my KJV Holy Bible within just three days (via DHL), all the way from America, to eastern Europe, in a cardboard box, which kept the book (which was inside another box) pretty safe. Once I cut it open and removed the other box, I couldn't believe what I got: zipper is working just fine, the leather (imitation) is great, and what I found in the book itself knocked me down, as a student interested in the thorough studies of the matter: additional explanations, references, charts - everything you cannot find in an ordinary Bible (especially if you live in eastern Europe, in ex-Yugoslavia, to be exact). All in all, I highly recommend buying this piece; quality is great, and it will last (even if you're not as careful as you are trying to be or you want to be) - 5/5 stars! Cheers!

I had my Old Scofield Bible for some time and loved it and its quality, but sometimes the notes were a little quirky and didn't teach the dispensational theology that I wanted to learn and understand. I heard that the notes had been updated in the 1960's so I hunted up other versions of the Scofield and decided on the Study Bible III, mostly as a gamble. I was pleasantly surprised with the product. Always quality with Oxford even with their non-leather zipper cover. I immediately went to the notes to compare with my Old Scofield and found them fabulous and clear to understand. The format has nice blocks where specific subjects are covered extensively. And the notes and info blocks teach dispensational theology well for me, but I found that you don't have to be a dispensationalist to find value in this bible. It's a wealth. I do not find anything wrong to say about this product. I am thoroughly happy and satisfied. I will use this bible for many years.

Made it a Gift for myself!!! Beautiful Bible to have nice Jacket leather zip up.. A traveling Messenger's must have Bible!!! For sharing Gods Word!!! I had purchased my first Schofield Study Bible shortly after getting baptized on 9/10/2017 not only by water but by The Holy Spirit, and I honestly and truly LOVE this study Bible! This Bible gives you various references about a word or phrase you are looking for. A year or so later I ended up gifting my Bible that I wrote all over as I made notes all in it to one of my oldest daughter’s friends. She and another one of her friend’s ended up getting baptized the same day at my Church and so I gifted The WORD OF GOD to them as well, shortly after that I gifted another set to a friend and one of my niece’s, and so I ordered another one for me. I wrote and took notes in it, and again last year our Lord Jesus moved me to gift out my copy to one of my older sister’s who is not saved YET, but ABBA is working on her. And I was then moved to also gift one to one of my brother’s who was going through some battles and needed The WORD OF GOD to help Comfort and Guide him through that rough time in his life. So, I pray that this copy I just ordered will be for me to use until THE LORD GOD moves me to gift it to the next person.

The Scofield Study Bible III is a great study Bible with many new very helpful features. The construction seems to be just fine (and I am picky). The only thing I could think of that would make this Bible even a little better would be to make it genuine leather and include the cut-away book finder. (know what I mean? each cut leads to the first of three books) All in all, this is a first-rate study Bible! I am familiar with the Old Scofield, having owned several and this one is the best that I've ever seen (and it was a present for my wife:( ) We both love it and I'm a honestly considring getting me one, too! My bible finally arrived and based on first impressions it was worth the wait!!! ...And what a long way it was! I ordered my Bible at the end of June (29th if I'm not mistaken) and today it arrived, the 17th of June. The worst part of all is it was shipped from New Jersey and I live in New Jersey. The seller did not provide a tracking number and that in itself was mentally cumbersome given that I live in an apartment building in not the best of neighborhoods. Enough about the seller and now the review… The Scofield Bible is a little smaller than and iPad and much bigger than an iPad mini2. There is decorative gold foil along the edges of the pages, a gold ribbon for place keeping and a sturdy zipper. The letters within the Bible are at least a 14font (please see the attached photos). The beginning of every book has a review and an outline of the chapters; as we move through the chapters of each book there are scriptures to cross-reference listed in the margins, there are definitions in the footnotes and special dates/comments are mentioned in dialog boxes. Additionally, there is a pretty extensive dictionary/concordance in the back of this Bible, along with a number of colorful maps. Overall and initially, I really like the layout of this Bible and I recommend the bible not the seller. I'm excited to start studying and learning with the help of the Scofield Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

I have never wanted to really go through and read the Bible because it i daunting, but this Bible really is good. There are great notes that explain in more detail some things in the various books. Words are defined on the side that are important and there is some cross referencing of other books. I now enjoy reading the Bible and it is all due to the accessibility of this system. I also like the way some major ideas are explained in English that I can understand. If you want to study the Bible on your own and you want to really learn something then get this Bible it is worth it.

In my eyes this is a great bible. One of the best for half the price paided early for a King James Bible The print is just right for my ageing eyes,and the paper have a lovely feelig to it. I just love it. Hope this is helpfull to you

Excellent! This bible is everything I wanted and so much more. Decent sized print for ageing eyesight, the traditional King James Version, all wrapped up in a black leather zip up case. Love all the extra study notes, maps, etc. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good quality, long lasting bible.

Bought for my wife, this edition is large print from easy reading and Scofield's notes are helpful for understanding and putting scripture passages into context. It's large, so not a slip into the pocket version, but a great book to have handy for study and reference.
